The violin looks great and works fine when plugged in, but the acoustic sound is really weak. Also, some parts felt a bit flimsy out of the box. Decent for beginners.

Be very aware your package may not contain all the necessary parts. Mine first one did not have the power adaptor so I could not even try it out. After contacting the co, they sent one—from China so took about 2 weeks. When it arrived, it was the wrong one. Giving up, I exchanged the first one and, thank goodness, the second one had everything. The cover is quite cheesy and ugly but at least all the attachments worked.

The instrument arrived on time—faster than expected. My kiddo is a first-time player, and his teacher approved this purchase, noting that it's good quality. So far, it's been great! Difficult to keep tuned. The hairs on the bow break very easily. Violin itself is good quality and the sound is good. Probably a better practice violin than a performance violin.
