This bass came with a straight neck and nicely set up. I had to do some minor work when it came in, but nothing crazy. My complaint about the bass is that it does very well in standard tuning, but tuning down to C or D isn't accommodated well. Other than that, it's pretty exceptional. I've had and played a plethora of basses over the years, and this one reminds me of a nicer Washburn. It sounds great, holds tuning better than I expected, is light, sleek, and could easily sell for 2-3x the price. ...

Recieved it in record time.....amazing quick ship. Packaged well and when I plugged it in I was pleasantly surprised. The playability was remarkable.....good tones and wonderful fret filing and prep. This Bass has been amazing. It cam well protected in it's packaging, it looks amazing, sounds great, easy intonation. The neck is really smooth. The only thing I didn't like was the original strap it came with. It was kind of cheap and not very comfortable. So I put a larger leather strap on it and the neck dive after that wasn't bad at all. For the pricing, you couldn't go with a more decent 5 string bass. I'm very pleased!

This Bass arrived 3 days after the order! I am very pleased with the build quality and finish. I ordered the "Brown" finish, it looks like polished Mahogany! Minimal adjustments for relief, action, and intonation. I'm 73 years old, with 50 years of playing experience. I recommend this Bass for any player.

I would have given this 5 stars if the neck of the bass wasn't so far out of adjustment....that being said Its alot better quality than I expected and its great for home recording. Might even put some better pickups in it later

It's a nice guitar for a beginner. When it arrived with the box punctured and battered, I had a feeling something would not be good. It has a great tone, but we noticed that the fixed bridge is unleveled and makes the B-string closer to the frets than the others, which concluded in a buzzing sound. The G-string bridge part was unleveled but didn't affect the tone nor the sound.

Had a problem with the first guitar but the team quickly resolved the problem with a new one

Guitar looks super nice, did have some scuffs/scratching on the body, but that wasn't the issue, two of the knobs were broken and free spinning/not mounted within the bass, upon opening it found more issue with some wiring being disconnected, all within less than 10 minutes of opening the package, hopefully I will be able to receive a replacement and the issue wont pursue. Its unfortunate, but ordering online always has risks, depending on how this is addressed I will provide an update!

The bass is great for a $100 guitar. The only issue is there is not a back plate for the bolts in the neck. This is a beautiful looking bass as it is sounding. Would definitely purchase again. The amp is good for a beginner but I suggest purchasing a different one

My son's bass teacher was impressed with the quality if the workmanship, including the neck/frets, which can be rough with high action on entry level models. Not so with this model!
