This is a really nice value. Buyers just need to understand that All stringed instruments need a proper setup before being played and evaluated. If the peg holes and pegs are prepped properly, and the instrument is brought up to pitch slowly, it will tune just fine - and stay in tune. Tone is very impressive for a low end instrument. If you are going to buy one for a student, find a local shop that does setup basics at a fair rate, and you'll wind up having a great value, nice sounding instr ...
