Glarry High Grade Electric Guitar Square Hard Case for GST GTL 170 SG and Burning fire Flat Yellow

I bought this case for a Fender mini P bass because there are no cases made for it. This Glarry guitar case is made for Strats, Teles and the like yet this mini P fits. It is about 2 inches narrower and shorter than the body but I corrected that with a few pieces of foam. The case is reminiscent of a '50's Fender tweed case but 1/3 to 1/5 the price found online. This case is lighter than the "F" tweed cases and probably not as durable. I bought it to keep dust off and for light protection.

This is a great value, guitar looks and plays really good. The service is really great. The first guitar that was sent to me was damaged in shipping. I contacted customer service with a description and pictures of the damage, and received a replacement guitar within a week.

I purchased the Glarry Burning Fire bass in black. It arrived packed neatly and securely in a rigid cardboard box, with a molded inner Styrofoam protective "box". The bass came with a cable, a strap, and a pick. The bass itself was wrapped in a protective "sleeve". Upon initial inspection, I found some paint blemishes/bubbling, as well as a bent volume pot. I was amazed at how nice the guitar looked when I removed it from the box. After tuning it and plugging into my amp, I couldn't believe the sound of these pickups. Neck pickup was very warm, and bridge pickup was bright..I had seen a review where the bridge pickup had a little trouble, but not in my case. The guitar played beautifully. The instrument is very good looking in my opinion as well as the accessories, but I was very disappointed at the fact that my bow is broken or doesn't work. When I screw to tighten the frog the bow rises like a rainbow and does not tighten the hair.

Overall, it was in pretty decent condition, the selector switch was a little bent but was easily fixed by hand, the action and intonation were a little bit off but were easily fixed, on the back of the neck there were small chipping splinters but were not a problem after a once over with a sanding block.

I love this case. It's simple, functional, and it fits any strat style body guitar I've put in it. It's worth every last dollar. Lock works, the case compartment doesn't open if the case is closed, empty, and on it's side so what you put there stays put. Owned it for 3 months now and it's rockin'. No warp, no broken parts. For the money you can't beat this guitar. Other than tuning the strings there were only a couple of adjustments needed to get it to play quite well. Although the packing is kinda slim the guitar had no blemishes, scratches or dents. The neck is straight the frets smooth with no sharp edges. The bridge pickup is a little noisy but for the price that is not a complaint. All in all I am quite happy with My new Glarry GTL.

I am pretty happy with the end results, I'll start with the cons because it's a short list: there were a few chips in the paint on the bass when it arrived (somewhere around 2-4). This is likely a shipping issue more than Glarry itself, however they are so small and obscure you would have to know they are there and look straight for them in order to see them. Love this guitar..plays and sounds as good as any strat-style guitar costing 4 to 5 times as much..ordered my .010 feeler and .050 hex wrench to do a setup although very playable straight out of the box.I would highly recommend this model of guitar if for nothing else the unique and beautiful tone this guitar emanates..Thank-you Glarry

excellent service - arrived on time in perfect shape. I have one already, this was for my wife - it's light, comfortable. I restring it with slightly lighter strings for ease of learning. I expect to electrify with poezi pickups for connection to practice amp. I've tried a number of Chinese-built guitars (I'm a luthier) and most were lacking, poorly made or simply a castrophie. Glarrys are strong, pretty good sound, easy to handle and a brand I trust. Five stars !

Was finally able to find out what went wrong all the other times I tried ordering this guitar, turns out the problem with my card was on my end, sorry, but my GTL Maple Fingerboard Electric guitar arrived, not a scratch on it, it is very light, I of course, will be upgrading with better strings, and yes, the bridge pickup is microphonic, I'll live with that for now, or maybe figure out ways of using that little flaw in the music!
