Decent guitar is almost an exact copy of an 60s/70s Stratocaster. Beautiful finish is fairly soft and scratches easily, but it may not be completely cured. Strings are really awful - poor action and tone but a set of Ernie Ball Hybrids fixed noth issues. Tone is surprisingly good through all 3 pickups. Amplifier has decent sound and power but there's an odd hum at some, but not all, settings that may be coming from the amp, the guitar pickups or controls, the supplied cable (very cheap!), or the ...

As a beginner on the Bass I bought the Fender By Squire along with the amp... Costs $300... Notice this bass at the price and said, let me try this for the price! Really impressed and I have the Fender Squire to bring to Bass Class and this one by my bed to practice... For This Price I Could Not Be More Happy. I prefer Basswood for tone so thats a bonus for me, i prefer the bare wood on my necks so thats also a bonus for me. The neck pocket could be a little tighter, the pick guard has one little spot thats not perfect and the rout for the bridge puckup isnt perfect but none of that really matters.
