I am a music professional, making my living touring, teaching and playing, based out of Los Angeles. I am very surprised at the practicality and useability of this instrument. I bought just to see how good or bad it was, and I have to say, for the money? It's a GREAT deal. Unfortunately my guitar was badly damaged during shipping which happens sometimes. I contacted Glarry (after hours) and got an almost immediate response. Not only did they send a replacement, they asked that I just donate the damaged one to a musician in need. I will make repairs and do just that. It's not that often that you see such great customer service with online sales.

My second Glarry bass. Absolute sound awesome, Out of the box has better playability , tone, and factory setup than any other of my non Glarry basses. After 65 years of playing, by far the most fun to play. I wish I had enough money for a Glarry Super Strat. These instrument are phenomenal at any price! Comes highly recommended at any price point. I added flat wounds for that elusive Jaco Pastorius sound. Great for anyone who wants to learn or just plain have tons of fun.

I am a guitar player using this bass for recording. The instrument has a satin like finish which I really liked. The action on the instrument was low which also was great. Neck was normal size and comfortable. Buzz was minimal at worst and the neck was straight. Frets were filed nicely. The tuners were stiff and requires a lot of effort. I ordered this for my adult son for Christmas. He played alto sax in the high school band and wanted to pick it up again as an adult. I was concerned about the quality but when he opened it Christmas he was very happy with the product and according to his wife and kids he has been really enjoying it since.

I don't write reviews too often, but I feel like noting this experience. There was a mix up with my shipping address, and my order was shipped to the wrong address. I was ready to accept a loss; UPS did their job and I'd long lost expectations in customer service, especially some impersonal company I came across online. Happy to say I was wrong. So, I'm changing the nut, dressing the frets, and doing a full setup before mailing it out to the Children's Music Fund. I wanted to buy a professional trumpet but I decided to start up again with a less expensive instrument. This horn has been great. I'm hitting high notes with it that I couldn't hit in high school. I am now learning how to use the slides which work really well on this instrument. I will eventually upgrade but now I'm not in any hurry.

Good beginner bass. My issue with this bass is the strings vibrate on the frets bad around fret 5 after some playing. To make it worse the truss bolt isn't accessible with the wrench they gave me because of the angle the hole is drilled. I emailed customer support and never got a response… so I'm leaving a review lol. There was also protective plastic stuck all around the plug in and knobs.
