I am really impressed with how good this guitar is and would highly recommend. The tuning pegs are surprisingly good, and after smoothing out the nut slots with some sandpaper and lubricating them with pencil lead, I'm having no tuning problems. The body is beautiful, I really like the slightly chunky neck (it's good for SRV neck grips on Pride and Joy), and the pickups sound okay. I saw this on Allen Brown's YouTube channel (Bully Thakidd), and thought I would see if this bass lived up to the hype. This thing is playable right outside the box. It looks good and sounds pretty. If you wanted to set it up, it would be cake. The neck is thick like a P-Bass, which I don't really mind since I started with a P-Bass. I am very happy with my purchase. I had to do a few typical setup things to make the guitar play well, but now it plays and sounds almost like my expensive Stratocasters. And it looks great. It will make a great first guitar for my grandson. :)

The item was great and great value for the price. I was not pleased with the fact it was just left on my door with no knock or email or text notification. I've had items stolen from me recently in the mail and was worried about this delivery of such a big item. This bass guitar is amazing! It arrived right away, and right out of the box, it was a joy to play. I've already plugged it into my DAW and recorded with it, and of course it sounds great through my amp (and even alone, tbh—just for practicing fingering...I'm new to the bass). Strings are fabulous, they stay tuned, tone is amazing—everything about it is perfect. Highly recommend!

If you are interested in seeing if you would like the fretless bass, then this a economical way to test the waters! The bass is very well built in light of the small price. Like any guitar, you may need to do some minor adjustment to the neck, but nothing major. The fretboard has the side makers at the normal fretted neck positions. After having claimed to have shipped the order on 7/10, and 3 emails to customer service during the following week, order was finally shipped from NJ on 7/17, which I received the following day from UPS.
