It made a weird squeaky sound when I played the G string while holding down on the fret. But I started making sure I kept the rosin residue wiped off the string, switched to Jade rosin, and started using the bow like I was taught in Cello Playing for Music Lovers: A Self-Teaching Method, and it disappeared. I love it!

At this price, you can't go wrong. While the craftsmanship may not match higher-end flutes, it's perfectly acceptable for the price. The sound is decent enough for a beginner, and the color adds a fun touch. The keys aren't top-notch quality, but for a beginner or practice flute, it won't let you down. Excellent value for this price point, and did I mention the color is just fun?

i was fairly skeptical as i received this as a gift. I havent played sax in years but always talked about getting back into it. This thing actually is built quite well. I am able to get all the notes in tune, everything feels sturdy and smooth, and overall it sounds pretty decent. Good case for the price point. The handle is the weakest link on the case but not a deal breaker. I use this for local car travel and not flights. I take care of my gear so it should last a long time. It will not fit an iPad in the inside compartment and the body of a USA spec Tele fits tightly so that's a good thing. The recommended size fit my daughter perfectly. She had just started learning and loved the violin. The finish is beautiful. When the teacher helped to tune the music, she also said that the sound was very nice. My daughter is so happy to have it.

It feels a little tiny when you use it the first time but after a couple minutes you get really comfortable, sounds pretty good for the price, awesome practice bass and probably if you use a different Amp you can use it for performances too 10/10

I haven't played in years; I was able to play this flute immediately. The tone is sweet and warm and mellow, very similar in look and feel to an Armstrong student model. Slightly slower action than a broken-in Gemeinhardt, but probably a good starter flute. Slightly less heavy than a Gemeinhardt M2.

I am 38 years old. Just started learning to play the violin. I wasn't sure how far I could go, so I settled on a cheap violin. But it feels good to the touch. It is also very comfortable when playing. This increased my motivation to continue. Maybe in a year I can replace it with a better violin.
