I received a very playable instrument that is a great start for those interested in trying 6-string bass. The neck was pretty well setup, and the intonation is perfect through the 24-fret. It's really an amazing instrument for less than $150. Fun little kit! As a kit it isn't a challenge but when you're done you have a ok cheap little guitar. Nothing a serious guitarist would want but it plays and for the price it's amazing.

Purchased this for myself and two grandchildren to use to augment our standard guitar playing. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in excellent condition. Did a simple setup and changed out the strings and I've got a nice instrument with a good future "mods" base. Remains to be seen how it will hold up under extended use, hence the only 4-star rating. I purchased this for a granddaughter as her "electric" guitar to augment the acoustic guitar she already has. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in excellent condition with everything needed to begin playing. I was impressed that it was fairly well setup right out of the box! Can't beat the price. I picked this bass up as a take anywhere no worries instrument. I've played it every day since I received it the sound is great. I do have to tune it alot but the strings are new so that's expected. Tuner works great. Action is high but and easy fix. I have yet to plug it in so I'm not sure about the electrical side.

The guitar is great, it sounds great feels great and everything. The guitar can use some better strings however but other than that the guitar is fine. The amp on the other hand not so much, it doesn't have the sound quality it should, especially when being overdriven. Maybe this is because of my playing style etc. The amp most definitely isn't worth it unless you're playing on a clean tone. It's not impossible to use but it won't give you the vibe you think it will in overdrive.

Fun, with surprisingly decent sound for the $ Body (while tiny) is much thicker than it could be - and considerably thicker than most full-sized instruments. Neck and fretboard are well made. Electronics and output jack are sub par.

Had to deepen the nut slots,shim the neck,and adjust string height and intonation but after that,the guitar stays in tune and plays good.its a great value if you can do a little setup work.

I mean, for being one of the cheapest bass guitars on Amazon, it's not bad. But you can definitely tell it's a cheaply made instrument. As others have stated, mine too came with several blemishes, but nothing bad enough to me warrant a return. The tuning pegs are cheap, and I may try and replace them. Actually surprised on the quality for the price, it needs a setup which I need to do. Would I purchase another Glarry, yes I would. Shipping free which was nice, was delivered a little before 10pm though...was package great to prevent damage. The cable is open, checked with a ohms meter. .. The good: Surprisingly well manufactured for its price point, with no fret overhang and the electronics all worked as expected. The tone was surprisingly good. Not so good: The intonation was not set, meaning that the bridge saddles were not adjusted to ensure that notes are in proper pitch as you play higher up the neck. First, its fun to play! It's very attractive and it plays well. I was surprised how good it sounded. Volume and tone knobs are smooth. My only complaint is the "inlay" is painted on. I will definitely buy another Glarry Bass.

Let me start by saying that you can't expect to much fit and finish from such an inexpensive guitar. Having said that, I do have some issues. The neck is quite raw and "sandy", which I think will require my attention. There is some fret buzz up and down the neck, but a setup will remedy that, along with the sharp edges on the frets. Out of the box, it was better than expected but will still need a good setup which I can do myself. The biggest surprise is that the body was unfinished! Bare wood! It still needs sanding in some spots. I ordered the natural finish but was still expecting a glossy coat.
