The reason I gave this a 4 star rating, is because their is a hairline crack in the neck joint. This could have happened during shipping or when the neck was bolted on. I thought about returning it, but since it doesn't affect the performance of it I opted not to. This guitar looks and plays beautifully. Just some intonation problems which I fixed, and I decided to upgrade the tuning machine heads. I just ordered another one a Newer GTL with both a single and double coil pick-up. Brass bridge ...

Other than the delivery guy being a dumbass and leaving it in the yard (not Glarry's fault) everything shipped fine and arrived about as expected. For the price i did expect some finishing roughness and there were a few small areas that needed some TLC with fine sandpaper (i like a satin neck), but honestly for 119 bucks and me planning to strip and refinish everything, really not bad. electronics sounds fine, neck was playable out of the box, tuners are fine. I was looking for an inexpensive guitar with which to practice fixing guitars. This model is beautiful and very light, which my body enjoys. It had a few things that needed addressed, like a slight tweak in the neck and lowering the action and a bit of fret sprout, but it was well worth the money. It is a great entry level guitar. Been playing for over 50 years...yikes. Thought I would give this one a try and was really surprised. Beautiful yellow finish is flawless, and the sound is great. There is kind of a disconnect between the neck and the body though IMHO. But after tweaking around with the truss rod, bridge, etc. I got it playable! Excellent value IF: you are able to file fret ends, and adjust intonation, and adjust the action yourself. Otherwise you'll need to pay for a repairman to do those for you. Looks great, sounds good, neck feels slightly clunky, but it is A LOT of guitar for the cost.

Gave 4 stars. Guitar is in great shape. Packaged very well. Guitar sounds really good. The amp on the other hand is very static. Tried different settings and still the sound isnt very good. Other than that. Very good purchase and im happy with it.

The guitar arrived well-packaged and undamaged, but I will say, the guitar is worth the $100 charged. A lot of set-up and adjustments needed to be made to make it "playable" (In my opinion.), but that comes with a low budget. In other words, this is a fantastic choice for a BEGINNER. If you have reached an intermediate level, I would begin looking elsewhere.

Ordered the GTL Semi-hollow F Hole and received it in 6 days later. Very impressive. I was worried about shipping time because of previous reviews, but mine go to me super fast. The front of the guitar looks beautiful (Blue) however there were 2 chips around the bottom/back edge of the guitar. Nothing I am going to make a big deal about. honestly, the guitar is not perfect, but for the price, this guitar is totally worth the buy. It's my first electric and I'm having fun learning on it. Be prepared to tune it quite a bit, but that is the only problem with it.

The guitar arrived faster than expected. Kudo's for that. A quick inspection after unpacking found the body of the guitar in good condition with no nicks or damage to the finish. The neck appeared straight and i did not find any sharp edges on the frets. I anxiously tuned it up and strummed a chord and found the guitar out of tune. Good value. Action high. Tuners good. Saddles ok, not great. Fretboard good. Few fret burrs. Decent quality strings. Pickup has clean sound. Very light, which is nice, Good swag for price. A little crude overall, but if you want to try bass, or want one to take places you don't want to take you expensive base, it's a winner.

Overall the guitar is really good for the price you pay. The only things I wasnt very happy about was the strings that are being changed. Also the packaging was not the best the box arrived damaged causing a couple of dings in the body and neck but not enough to effect the performance of the guitar. I would however purchase another guitar from the company. Almost forgot the trem bar is pretty much useless as it does not work, but no big deal I dont ever use one.

Fast shipping. Beautiful. Good finish. Well constructed from inexpensive parts. Frets needed polishing. Tuning machines should be improved. Pickups sound good for the money. Good resonance. Well worth the money if you know how to do your own setup. Suggest longer wires between the pots, so the tele plate reversal mod is easy.

Four stars BUT... The bridge was misaligned on my example. This is a pretty big deal. The guitar was playable, but having all of the strings shifted to the high E by 1+ mm was really not acceptable. For a beginner, this would make navigating the high E string a challenge as it was so close to the edge of the fretboard. Additionally, the face plate for the controls was also misaligned. I give this one 4 Stars only because it came with loose screws on the pickups that I tightend (Quality control issue) and I had to do a bit of a setup on it to straighten the slight bow in the neck and lower the action unlike the "Burning Fire". Furthermore Glarry you have to do a better job at shipping the guitars. Guitars should be shipped as a box inside a box to absorb the rough transit through the shipping process. This is a first instrument I bought for my grandnephew, it is pretty descent out of the box but I did polish the frets, minor string height adjustments and set the intonation I think this guitar will take him down the road a few years until he's ready for a better quality guitar.

I needed a bass for my studio as I really dislike Midi bass. For the price I cannot complain at all. It is stable, has a decent neck and looks good. Downsides would be that it is top heavy due to the body being so light, but this is not an issue as this is a studio bass for me. I am very satisfied and appreciate Glarry's good service here. Very happy with this purchase. For the price you arent going to do better. Neck needs a "very lite" sanding closer to body to smooth out a little rough spot but it doesnt absolutely need it. The pickups work fine. Probably gonna put about 60$ into upgrading tuners and pickyps and this will be every bit as good as a 400$ bass. If u want to try out bass to see if you like it this is definitely 1 to pull the trigger on. I would recommend this product.
