I received the violin and it's just as I expected. Though I am a newbie and will be taking lessons shortly, I'm impressed with how nice the violin looks. I can't wait to take lessons and make hopefully...beautiful music with it.

My daughter has a 1/2 violin that is just slightly too large for her so I bought this 1/4 size because she will not need it very long and the price was right. But you get what you pay for. It's crooked and the strings do not want to stay on the bridge. Even her teacher with decades of experience struggled to only play one string at a time. The shoulder rest that comes with this violin is useless. My biggest concern is that this violin was only packaged in its case and then stuck inside a plastic ...

It could have very easily been damaged and should most definitely, even for this incredibly low price, be shipped inside a cardboard box. This violin has many good reviews so it's possible I just got a dud. But in hindsight I do wish I had spent more money and got my daughter the smaller size violin in the same brand as her larger one. If this were her very first violin ever she surely would have given up immediately because it is so poorly made, a real struggle to play, and not at all enjoyable. Two stars only because the shipping was quick.

For the price, this cannot be beat. I got the 1/4 size for my 5yo daughter. If she plays it regularly, I will happily get her a more expensive instrument. I just don't want to invest until I can see that it is more than a passing interest. This is the perfect violin to see if she will play more than once or twice. Overall I am happy with it, but it did need a bit of adjusting to get it working acceptably. The bridge comes whole, never set up, sized, or cut. The strings are terrible, the fine tun ...

The strings are terrible, the fine tuners on the tailpiece were sticking, and the pegs were slipping. I purchased a new set of strings and a new tailpiece at an additional cost of about $40 and set it up myself as best I could. With the strings properly pushing on the outside of the head box, I was able to keep the pegs from slipping quite so much and get it in tune. I was unable to get it in tune before these modifications. The case is very nice. The sound is more than acceptable after the new strings and I was pleased to see the sound post was in the right place. The bow works surprisingly well, even if it looks a little shaggy. A nicer bow will probably be my next upgrade. It was shipped very quickly, three days on the West Coast US. Overall I'm satisfied with what I got for what I paid, but it was not playable as it arrived so I cannot give it five stars.

The violin looks just like the picture. However, when mine came in, the sound post was not in place. It was rolling around inside the violin. My package was also missing the electric tuner that was meant to be there per the violin's description. Overall. pretty disappointed unfortunately.

For the price its a very nice instrument. I love it so much! It did come with a string that was starting to unravel but, also came with spare strings, so very easy fix! It does take a while for it to stay in tune, but that comes with every new instrument no matter what you buy. Overall I would highly recommend this instrument, its wonderfully for a beginner violinist such as my self.

I bought this for my adult daughter and she loves it. Had to watch a Youtube to figure out how to set it up, where to place the bridge, etc. It's unbelievable how much you get for such a small price. I was so happy with this that I bought another for my son.

This violin is wonderful. I have played since I was a child always renting and never owning. Thanks to your company I now own a beautiful violin that sounds amazing and my church agrees that after the right tuning its is perfect. I look forward to buying another for my 6 year old daughter once I get the money saved up

The violin was a really nice violin for the money. I would definitely purchase again. The only negative, which was not that bad is, the case had some mold inside. Not sure if it may have been stored in a damp place but the violin was not effected.

Beautiful and in Great shape and for the price. Relearning how to play the Violin again. In over 40 yrs. The rosin is old and hard. I had to buy new rosin.

I puchased a 1/8 violin for my grandson. It is set up and ready to go. Tuning is a bit of a challenge on a violin so small. Cant really rate it yet as it hasnt been used but was very happy with the price.

Glarry customer service has been responsive and fair in supporting us. Our initial efforts to setup the instrument at home was less than successful, because we failed to spot that the strings were threaded backwards through the pegs. Violin teacher rectified this. The instrument can now hold a tuning. However, the fine tuners do not work and the ...

Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would do it again. Please Note: 1. Likely need to buy a different shoulder rest. Could not get theirs to fit right. 2. Their customer service responds in the evenings typically. I was not able to locate a phone number to call them, so all support was done through email.
