I'm really happy with this bass guitar! I must admit, I was a little wary due to the price but I wanted a bass to sit in the studio just to lay down some stuff for demos. I bought it expecting it to need some work but was pleasantly surprised. The finish on my bass is absolutely perfect. No flaws in paintwork, no dings. It was spot on. Couldn't be happier. I saw this on Allen Brown's YouTube channel (Bully Thakidd), and thought I would see if this bass lived up to the hype. This thing is playable right outside the box. It looks good and sounds pretty. If you wanted to set it up, it would be cake. The neck is thick like a P-Bass, which I don't really mind since I started with a P-Bass. This bass guitar is amazing! It arrived right away, and right out of the box, it was a joy to play. I've already plugged it into my DAW and recorded with it, and of course it sounds great through my amp (and even alone, tbh—just for practicing fingering...I'm new to the bass). Strings are fabulous, they stay tuned, tone is amazing—everything about it is perfect. Highly recommend!

If you are interested in seeing if you would like the fretless bass, then this a economical way to test the waters! The bass is very well built in light of the small price. Like any guitar, you may need to do some minor adjustment to the neck, but nothing major. The fretboard has the side makers at the normal fretted neck positions. I'm a semi retired professional bassist and I just love my Glarry P Bass to pieces! I have Fenders and a Rickenbacker 4001, and yet I prefer to play my Glarry's (I also have the GJ Bass).
