I like this bass. It's playable, with some fret buzz. Something I've noticed is that the amp will buzz sometimes. It's alright. Worth the purchase.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bass, especially considering the cost. The amp is not grounded and does tend to hum excessively, but for relearning after over four decades off from traveling with a band it's great. I was also impressed that it came with round wound strings on it - back in the 1970's the Rickenbacker 4001 and the Fender Jazz bass I played came with flat wound strings that had to be switched out.

I'm Impressed With My New Glarry 5 String Bass. It Came Only Needing Minor Adjustments - Mainly To Get Rid Of A Buzz At The 15th Fret On All Strings. Although The Finish Could Be Better, I See No Reason Not To Use This Bass For Practice, Learning And As A Stage And Studio Back Up Bass. As A Side Note, I Would Take It With A Grain Of Salt When Someone Says Their Glarry Instrument Arrived Needing A Lot Of Work Or Swapping Parts Out For More Expensive Parts. I really love the body style, the candy apple red w/ black hardware looks awesome, sadly when I received my bass there was obvious damage to the neck where it bolts on, there are fairly large gaps around the between the neck and the body, the fretboard had a chunk of wood hanging from it at the very end. Updated rating 4* - Updated review: They sent a completely new bass at no charge to me to replace the defect one, the new one had a properly set neck and was flawless from top to bottom, the only lingering issue is a volume cutout when both pickups are at full volume likely due to faulty wiring as some have stated in other reviews and videos, but this does not kill the overall satisfaction with the instrument and I can still get a decent range of tone control in light of that issue. The Glarry Bass plays and sounds amazing. I plan to use it for recording my new "Delta" album for Spotify. I didn't have to do any luthier work to it, it was perfect as received! It's very light though strong enough not to bend when tuning the strings. The round-wound strings allow for sliding sounds and string slapping effects. It's a very nice bass.

I bought it for occasionally playing alone and small rehearsals, Sounds great, only concern was with the paint, two woods came in different color, but i guess for the price its ok, also its hard to play with the left hand because of the deep neck, but again, for the price its great if you want something better go to usd 700+ price range

I am surprising happy with my new Glarry guitar. The feel of the instrument, how fit to my body was certainly a hugh plus. The sound was more than i had hoped. My only question is, how can you build a guitar that sounds that good at such a reduced price. I will certainly purchase again.

Very nice product craftsmanship on the body was excellent neck is straight. Worked as it should great product to model and upgrade I installed a hip shot drop D tuning and ernie ball flat wound strings Hey Seymour Duncan quarter pound pick up and electronics and a costum pick guard this is a real workhorse of a machine and the weight of the guitar is perfect

Really like the look, feel and playability of this instrument. Really good size for my 10 year old. It does have a pretty significant ground buzz in the electronics though, trying to figure out how to remedy that.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I will say, I don't have much prior knowledge about bass or even guitar, but I see no issues with mine. It plays beautifully, and for fellow beginners, it's easy to learn. I was hesitant when I saw such a low price, but I got way beyond my money's worth (in the best way possible)! I highly recommend.

I am 100% satisfied with this purchase - I couldn't even identify a single suggestion for improvement. It is probably my 12th bass. I have had much worse than this one including at several times the price. This one is THAT good! I played a casual gig a few days after receiving it, absolultely love the sounds and playability of this one, and am thinking of making this one my main bass for certain gigs like this. I received the fretless bass that I ordered, and I do have a couple of comments. After playing it, I was pleased with quality considering the low price. The only concern I had were with the tuning pegs. The bass does not stay in tune, and as I try to tune it, the tuning pegs seem to lock up and then loosen to a fault. I will have to replace the tuning pegs as they just don't work. Other than that, a decent bass for the price. I would like to purchase additional guitars/bass guitars, but I am con ...
