Glarry never disappoints. Picked up the GIB 5 string. Did the usual, removed the neck put 3 coats of clearcoat fret level, swapped the tuners. Copper shielded the cavity. Put it all back together, and there you go. A $120 bass that's comparable to higher priced Ibanez, Yamaha and other Asian guitars.

The bass came exactly as described and plays wonderfully. This isn't my first Glarry bass and I would give this 5 stars, except for the fact that the strap button close to the neck came loose, and about 5 minutes ago the screw came out. I'm glad I had hold of it or it would have probably dropped and been damaged. Other than that easy fix which I can do in a little bit, I still 1000% recommend this instrument for people who like that low B string. I just wish this came in a Fretless.

Arrived with broken tuner. Customer service said I had to purchase another on my own and repair it myself.

Fixed it myself, had to replace neck. Put new humbckers. Replaced broken nut. Replaced electrical with fender set. Bass now hammers,great if u know how to set up a guitar

Totally amazed at the quality/price ratio. A solid passive bass that I bought for a friend who is a working musician on an extreme budget. It's only been a couple of weeks but so far the ax is way more than I had hoped for.

The Bass arrived in perfect condition and was packaged very nicely, which is an improvement over some of the guitars I've purchased from Glarry. The setup was a pretty good and honestly for a Bass at this price point it was exceptional. The action was a little high which I understand because it's better to avoid fret buzz, and some folks like it that way. The intonation was only slightly off and the neck relief was perfect. I only gave it 3 stars because im confident that what I've experienced isn't the norm, but i gotta bring this up. I bought this guitar on sale as an early Christmas gift last year. Aside from various cosmetic issues like scratches from sandpaper and a chip near the neck joint i had high hopes for it as a cheap backup. Unfortunately it also has an assortment of other issues. *The string nut was cut so low on every slot that its impossible to play without major buzzing unless the action is a ...

Aside from various cosmetic issues like scratches from sandpaper and a chip near the neck joint i had high hopes for it as a cheap backup. Unfortunately it also has an assortment of other issues. *The string nut was cut so low on every slot that its impossible to play without major buzzing unless the action is astronomical high even though the neck is straight. Not to mention that the G string slot is so low that its almost touching the fretboard. Fresh out of the box it needed a new string nut. *grounding issues in the electronics causing Loads of buzzing unless you are touching the knobs, bridge or strings. *some frets were cut so low that i literally have to replace them. I understand that to make equipment like this cheaper you have to cut cost somewhere, but quality control at the end of your production line isn't the place to do it. In short it's going to easily cost me as much as the guitar was purchased for just to get a tech to repair this factory new instrument so its actually playable.

Arrived fast. Damaged in shipping. Replacement arrived 4 days later. No hassle Spent about an hour aetti it up to my preferences. Other than set up. The bass is amazing. I've been playing for over 30 years and can't believe you can buy a bass with this sound, build, and customer service for the price. I would recommend Glarry to any musician on a budget or looking to get started or try a new type of instrument
