I like a high action for practising so this is perfect for me, most people would want to lower it a bit, so having the right allen key provided is a bonus. One minor issue that several other people have also pointed out is that the body is very light in relation to the head/neck, so when standing up playing the head will drop towards the floor if you don't hold it all the time. I purchased this bass with the full intention of modifying the heck out of it. I had a new pickup picked out, new tuners, and was even looking to put a roasted maple neck on it. When I received the bass I was surprised at how light it was without being neck heavy. This is the nicest beginner bass I have ever seen I had a spinal cord injury and my old bass was just so heavy I bought this one because everybody's all the reviews said it was so light weight while it is and it sounds beautiful thank you so much for making such a nice product

I am impressed. This is a good first bass guitar for the beginner. I love the finish on it. There are no fret sprouts. Just need a minor adjustment on the bridge - easy to do with the tool provided - to get the right height for me. The strings were in good shape. Normally, I replace the strings on inexpensive guitars but did not need to do so. Plugged it in and it sounds fine. The body is light.

Discovered the Glarry GP Electric Bass on a couple of YouTube unboxing videos and decided to give it a shot. I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend's 10 year old son who has shown a interest in playing bass.The bass arrived and the construction is very good for the money. The finish is great, the sound is very good (playing it through a Fender Rumble L-25 Bass Amp) and it only needed some tuning out of the box. If you are project minded, there are many upgrades that one can make, but if you are wanting to learn the bass it can't be beat for the money.

The Glarry transaction was flawless! The Bass Guitar arrived about 12 days after I ordered it. The guitar was in excellent condition upon arrival and could be played, out of the box, after tuning it. However, one pick guard screw was missing! I contacted Glarry for a replacement screw, to which they immediately responded with the sad news that no screw replacement was available but offered a $5 rebate which I accepted as a settlement. I conducted a complete setup on this bass guitar and it ...

Like many have said, the headstock and seem a little heavy, but adjusting the included guitar strap solves the problem. I bought this to just find out how your P-Basses perform. I'm pleasantly surprised. The neck is a little thicker than most of the basses I own and that takes a bit of getting used to. I needed to remove the sharp edges on the frets and adjust the bridge and it was ready to play. The bass sounds great, looks great and plays great.

This bass guitar is amazing! It arrived right away, and right out of the box, it was a joy to play. I've already plugged it into my DAW and recorded with it, and of course it sounds great through my amp (and even alone, tbh—just for practicing fingering...I'm new to the bass). Strings are fabulous, they stay tuned, tone is amazing—everything about it is perfect. Highly recommend!
