The quality of this guitar is fairly decent for the money as it is a beginners guitar after all it still was a joy to set up, I can say tho maybe they should make the guitar strap a little more durable or stronger if you will considering this is a beginners guitar chances are 45% of buyers will be for their youngster they would be more likely to drop it easier vs a professional electric thanks.

Good quality for the price point! Great guitar for a beginner. The body is smaller then I thought it would be which is fine. So far I love this this guitar. If you buy the package deal with the 20 watt amp don't expect much from the amp. It's not very good but okay for someone just learning. The amp I received actually didn't sound right so I opened it up and found that the ground wire had become disconnected probably during shipped. Not a problem for someone like me that can solder. This guitar is beautifully designed the gloss finish of the guitar is so beautiful, wonderful for glow in the dark theme rooms, and the white really brings out the black on the guitar, over all a beautiful guitar.

My new favorite guitar. Needed nothing. Out of the box, clean, flawless, smooth necks. Great frets! Smooth tuners and pick ups sharp and responsive. It plays and feels better than my Fender. Fantastic purchase. The guitar looks even better than the website. After a few minutes tuning, I was shredding. I also bought the Tele version and it's even better. Light, but sturdy and really rocks. Neither needed more than a quick tune. Super smooth necks and frets. First class sustain. I'm blown away. ordered ggs101 semi hollow body, very impressed by quality, have had several simular guitars this is as nice or better than most, have had epiphones and ibenbez that cost $700 or more. the quality and playability is great, set up didnt have to change anything. did not recieve the strap, cord ,wrenches or picks. i have plenty of those so did not care,but someone else might

Clearly this is not expected to be a 5 star guitar in the world of all guitars. But, if looking for a nice sounds, super reasonable price and you can do the easy set-up steps, it's hard to beat. I saw a review online from an expert and could not resist. It's worth it - especially if you want an extra guitar to just beat around on, or keep in an open tuning, or use at a second home. ANyway, 5 star for price, condition and easy play.

I bought this for a modification platform as all the YouTube reviews indicated the neck and body were decent. Mine arrived in great shape, no issues there. It DID ned a string change, intonation set, and action lowered a touch, but I expected that.. do not recommend gifting this to someone unless you set it up first. Interesting point.. Very pleasantly surprised by this guitar. I only needed to set the intonation and shim up the humbucker (it floated top and bottom). I sanded down the back of the neck to knock down the drag from the gloss finish and it plays as smooth as my other guitar.

I'd rate this as more of a 7.6/10 for a few reasons. Pros: First of all, the thing looks absolutely awesome. Second the pickups are really clean and sound pretty good. The trem bar is threaded so it screws in and won't go anywhere. Cons: I have only a few minor "issues" if you can even call them that with this guitar. very pretty guitar, it had pretty high action out of the box. but after shimming the neck and leveling and polishing the frets and oiling the fretboard, it really started playing very well, a new set of strings made it play and sound very good.

Is it as well-built as a Fender Telecaster? Of course not--but at a fraction of the price, it's pretty darn good. It came with the intonation already well-set-up, no sharp fret ends, and generally good fit and finish. It will arrive with action higher than most les Paul's! So you will need to lower it first thing. I got lucky and got nice frets but you may have to do a complete fret job! I got this as a 2nd electric guitar and it's awesome for a beginner or someone who wants to play around. 4 out of 5 because of a free ring on the G string around 10 and 12. Also feel the volume is lower than it should be but still with a good amp the volume is no issue.

Just received this, and the finish on the guitar is gorgeous. Looked at the back and the string through body ferrules were perfectly straight. Action was pretty decent, plugged it in. Only the bridge pickup seems to work. Appears to be a problem with the way the switch is wired. Soldered to the wrong pins. I will fix this myself. Also, the string through body ferrules don't line up on the front of the guitar, made those holes a little bigger, since they are covered by the bridge. Glarry real ...

This is the perfect modding platform. The body is worth the price of admission. Beautiful color and lightweight. You couldn't buy a finished body for this price. Will be keeping the pick guard, bridge and backplate. And did I mention string-thru??? Buy it!!!

I bought this after taking lessons for 2 months. For $120 and electric guitar and amplifier, excellent deal. Very happy with the quality, and the sound. I would recommend as a starter set before making a big investment into well known name brand.
