I got the blue one and for the price, it's a good value. Quality control at this price point is somewhat hit and miss, but from what I've read, Glarry is easy to work with if you do have a problem. Mine had a tone knob that was drilled crooked, so it would rub in one spot. I had one lying around that matched, so no big deal. I also decided to replace the plastic nut. A word of caution. I tried buying a standard 42mm pre-slotted nut, but the slot in the neck was cut too deep. I ended up having to ...

VERY NICE Tele for the bucks!!!!!....... LOVE inexpensive guitars!...... With a quick home set-up, which most of us can do easily, these Glarry guitars are a total STEAL!...... Mod it or leave it alone and play the crap out of it..... Tough to beat for what you will lay out (less than 100 bucks)..... very pretty guitar, it had pretty high action out of the box. but after shimming the neck and leveling and polishing the frets and oiling the fretboard, it really started playing very well, a new set of strings made it play and sound very good.

Well for starters the guitar itself is amazing. The tone I get from the singles is like a funk guitar I've always wanted and not over dramatic on the twang like a tele. But here comes the bad parts, action needs major adjusting and even fret leveling. The nut needs a good file down and the biggest problem of them all is that the wammy does not (clip/attach) to the tail piece at all. This is the latest of many Glarry guitars I have purchased...this one had the best packaging. Guitar was in a styrofoam cut-out...nice touch. It is a beauty, plays and sounds great. only thing that needs attention is the poorly finished fret ends...ouch! Easy enough to fix...just cover the body AND pickups, hit with a (fine) sanding block. Other than that it is a keeper.

Great guitar! Great Sound! Great value! Beautiful natural Burlywood. Fit and finish are superb, with no flaws to be seen. Plays well right out of the box, but after a basic set up, including setting the action, check intonation, condition the fretboard, polish the frets, and a fresh set of strings, and this becomes a real players guitar. I'll endeavor to keep this simple. Overall? 4 stars. There's only 2 things I have to dock Glarry for on this model. 1) The neck MUST be shimmed. I've looked into reviews with all three of the new models (super strat, mustang, and the SG style) This seems to be across the board with these three in particular. Great guitar, needs some setup work, but nothing crazy. Frets need polished, bridge screws were loose and the action is high…. However once those things are addressed I believe this will be a really solid guitar. It is lightweight and looks really good. It's my second Glarry and I'll buy another. I'll tell you what... This guitar kicks a$$! You'd be hard pressed to find a guitar this good at $500 dollars let alone $89!! I have Fenders etc... But for the price and a few tweeks you can't beat these guitars! Extremely satisfied and will order again!

I've bought several Glarry guitars and this is my favorite by far. My only recommendations would be to install good strings on it and set it up. Intonation was pretty far off and the strings Glarry puts on at the factory are of low quality.

This is not just a good guitar for the price, it is just a good guitar in general! This is my 3rd Glarry, the fit and finish was pretty good. The frets needed leveling and the nut needed filing and I did shim the neck, now it plays nice and has a nice tone from the stock pickups. The work took me about 20 minutes without removing the strings, so I still have the original strings on the guitar. For the price, it's a pretty damn good instrument. No fret sprout, no sharp ends... The item I ordered was the upgrade with Wilkinson pickups and bone nut. The item I received doesn't have these. I have notified Glarry and waiting for a reply. It is a very nice guitar but not the upgrade I ordered. 5 stars instead of 3 for the correct product.

As some other customers have suggested, I now too agree that Glarry instruments are lax about their quality control standards. This guitar looks very nice, and the body especially looks nice with a good paint job. However, the back of the neck on the one I received is quite rough, from the body all the way up and also the headstock. It's as if, maybe the last coat of whatever finish was applied wasn't? Decent finish on body. Of course,pickups and action needed adjustments but over all good quality beginner guitar. Cons: the all maple neck was quite rough and barely finished- other than that not bad for the price

The piece is pleasing to look at. The amp has a constant hum. The 5-way switch cap fell off the first time I touched it. The balance is good for a entry-level unit and the intonation is fair. 2 stars for the hum, because, well, it hums. Also, it distorts even a clean effect and any kind of flange comes out as waffling.
