This guitar has some intonation problems, so I'll probably try adjusting things. But the tone is good - surprisingly full sound. Some of the accessories are pretty flimsy (the bag and strap). But for $79, I'm happy. There's no fret buzz, the electronics work. I've logged some hours playing it. It even looks decent - not spectacular, but attractive enough. Just plan on maybe doing some setup work or playing a lot of open position chords.

THE GUITAR ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION, THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A LOT OF WEIGHT STACKED ON TOP OF THE BOX WHEN SHIPPED. THE BOX WAS BROKEN THROUGH WITH THE BRIDGE PINS. This is Glarry #2 for me. This guitar hasn't got as much volume as my traditional acoustic but makes up for it in playability. Its thin, light and plays like an electric. The neck is fast and fretboard was good to go. I worked at a guitar shop for a couple years and know how to set one up. I'm playing right out the box. It needed nothing..nothing. I swapped out for Martin strings and dont plan to adjust it at all. No fretbuzz anywhere. You will not find more for the money.

I absolutely love this guitar. It has very kind strings to the fingers and is an ideal tool for learning as well as performing. The included digital tuner is superb and a very handy addition to the deal. The bag might be ok as a dust cover so I got an additional gig bag for it. In terms of sound and performance, it is an absolutely beautiful and clean sounding acoustic guitar noise which measures up easily to some very far more expensive instruments. When I hear thesound of it, it sounds like ... I absolutely love this guitar. It has very kind strings to the fingers and is an ideal tool for learning as well as performing. In terms of sound and performance, it is an absolutely beautiful and clean sounding acoustic guitar noise which measures up easily to some very far more expensive instruments. When I hear thesound of it, it sounds like a very expensive guitar. On a youtube video, a guy measured up the little brother model of this guitar (£50) to a £5000 guitar. He used a cheap pickup so it did not pick up like the semi acoustic guitar he was comparing it to. If he used this one, it would have been an easy match in terms of sound. The front of the guitar is like an antiqued matt finish and looks like it has been well used. It gives the guitar a really lovely bit of personality. The strap might be a little short, but it does the job fine for me. I love the pre amp and the eq and the fact that I can use this guitar for studio work and the pickup is immaculate. Glarry even included the batteries for the tuner and the pre amp. The 9V battery in the pre amp needs the cellophane removed before you plug it in unless you just want a passive pickup. It is exceptionally lovely to hold and to listen to the tones and notes that it makes makes for very enjoyable listening. The recordings in reaper and cubase sounds like you have plugged in a far more expensive guitar. I compared the guitar to the Freshman acoustic guitar the the matt finish and woods in this guitar beat the tone of it by miles. It has pride of place in my living room and visitors love to pick it up and play. That is what it is for, after all. I now have the local schools interested in obtaining Glarry instruments and I have made 10 violins available to them already. The local school music teacher said that the school budget is small for instruments, but Glarry puts instruments into the hands of people who could not ordinarily afford them. This is a beautiful ethos for a maker of musical instruments. To cut this short now, get this guitar!! It is a steal at this sort of price!!

This guitar had been out of stock for some time, and when they got more in I jumped on it. For the price and including the goodies you get along with the guitar you just can't go wrong. excellent service - arrived on time in perfect shape. I have one already, this was for my wife - it's light, comfortable. I restring it with slightly lighter strings for ease of learning. I expect to electrify with poezi pickups for connection to practice amp. I've tried a number of Chinese-built guitars (I'm a luthier) and most were lacking, poorly made or simply a castrophie. Glarrys are strong, pretty good sound, easy to handle and a brand I trust. Five stars !

The guitar case storage is not put together well, the top falls down inside the storage bin. My first order was great, love the strat. however, the last order was not a good purchase.
