Received this as a Christmas gift. It was ready to play after tuning. Did not require any set up. The action is perfect. It is a beautful looking guitar, and it has that satisfying velvety growl you expect from an acoustic bass. Plays like butter. I couldn't put it down!

I receieved my Glarry GT102 a few years ago. I was very disappointed at first. Intonation was way off at the mid point of the neck, about a full note. I shaved the saddle on the bridge to make the strings much lower. This solved the intonation problem and lowered the action to make it much easier to play. Intonation went from a full note off at the mid point to 95% in tune. I also replaced the strings with extra light ones. I now like this guitar MUCH better! Microphonic pickup will fe ...

Come on now it's a steal! Has a nice beautiful sound as long as you tune it right.. as a guitarist for decades i can say easily that it's definitely worth each penny spent!

Love it! Just like how great surfers can surf on anything, a table, piece of wood, if you know how to play (definitely not saying that I do) you'll enjoy this bass. I suggest flat wound strings, D'Addario has some and the silk is blue so it matches if you buy the blue bass. I love it, definitely worth the money, not going to be plugging it in so it's perfect to take around and not worry about dents or scratches

It came as described, early delivery, haven't plugged it in to an amp yet, acoustically sounds great Seems like a lack of varnish or primer on the face of the guitar, but could be the way it is, love the way the fretboard feels, overall I absolutely recommend this guitar, the price and sound are amazing

I have been very pleased with this Glarry combo. It arrived earlier than expected. Although the box was damaged, everthing inside was well wrapped so no damage incurred. Great choice in my opinion for a starter. Will purchase from this company again. (I'm probably going to order another one, to keep on my boat!)

Its a pretty good starter bass and the amp is really good as well. The only thing I recommend is getting better strings at a music shop bc these aren't the best but they still work okay.

Great guitar for the price! This is a beautiful beginner guitar! I was very impressed with the sound quality for the price that we paid- I honestly wasn't expecting it to sound as good as it does. Tuning is easy with the tuner that is included.

Great guitar for under $100, if you're on a tight budget but still want something that's very playable?! This is it...just like other posters said, you may have to do a little adjusting on it, or maybe not..so far mine feels good, but I'm gonna change strings soon, I highly recommend this guitar, for a beginner, or anyone just wanting something to jam around on and cheap! For the price you can't beat it

I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. I downloaded a Bass Tuning App to my phone and had the guitar ready to play in less than 15 minutes. The tone was perfect and I have no idea why other reviewers didn't like the factory installed strings, because I f ...

Having owned a couple of acoustic basses previously, I didn't have high expectations for this one, but I have use for one. I ordered this one hoping it wasnt a waste of money. It wasn't! Fit and finish is pretty good. There a couple of minor blems here and there, but barely noticable and dont affect the sound or playability in any way. As for sound, I was quite surprised at the deep resonant sound, producing a tight punchy bass without the "flappy" sound that many short scale basses have. The e ...

This was a nice surprise since this was my first acoustic-electric guitar I purchased from Glarry Music. The guitar was packaged double boxed (very secure) and arrived promptly. The quality of the construction was better than expected and so was the see through Black finish. My finger board was very dark and the frets were reasonably smooth on this model. Even the gig bag was made of heavier material to protect the guitar from rain and dust - even keep little kid's sticky fingers off it. Conside ...

I never leave reviews but this Bass nice, especially for the price. It plays really well and seems well made. There's a preamp that takes a 9volt battery and has an equalizer built into it. The equalizer works really well and allows for a variety of tones. Mine came with a strap and a gig bag. The bag is kind of thin, but it will keep the dust off it and keep it from being scratched. Overall, I am really satisfied with this bass.

This Bass required only the slightest setup, conditioned fretboard, and gave the nut slots two or three passes each with a file. The action is good right out of the box, but I like it really fast, so I will lower it a bit when I get a lighter set of strings, probably bronze. The bass has a full, rich, acoustic sound, and the electronics work as they should and is a nice added feature. The continuing shortfall is the gig bag, a padded bag is a must. Adding $10-15 to the total price to upgrade ...

Won this guitar in a contest. Came with heavy gauge strings. Ordering new extra light ones. Intonation is slightly off on a few strings, but WAY off on the lower E string. Don't know if a luthier can fix it. Pickup is microphonic so it feeds back pretty quick, but tone controls are very effective. Overall, a nice sounding guitar if it can be properly set up. Thinking about re-tuning to Hawaiian slack key. Will re-post if I do.
