Actually surprised on the quality for the price, it needs a setup which I need to do. Would I purchase another Glarry, yes I would. Shipping free which was nice, was delivered a little before 10pm though...was package great to prevent damage. The cable is open, checked with a ohms meter. .. I will be looking again for another guitar to customize in the near future. Thx T

Let me start by saying that you can't expect to much fit and finish from such an inexpensive guitar. Having said that, I do have some issues. The neck is quite raw and "sandy", which I think will require my attention. There is some fret buzz up and down the neck, but a setup will remedy that, along with the sharp edges on the frets. They were not sanded down at all. There is also a very noticeable bridge buzz. But probably not unexpected. I figured that I would likely have to replace that. It di ...

For the price of around 90 dollars i would say this is an absolute steal it shipped within a week there were no sharp frets the tuning stability is pretty good the pickups sound good for a 90 dollar guitar the material is nice and the finish is beautiful my only complaint is the quality of the accessories but for the price i cant really complain i would recommend getting new picks and a new cord if this is your first guitar but if you're looking for a good starter guitar and you don't want to sp ...

Very good guitar for a beginner and for modding with upgrades. Pros: shiny body finish; satin neck finish; smooth fret ends (fret tangs trimmed); electronics work; tuners work; looks good; smooth switches and controls; tight neck to body; allen wrenches included; 2-way dual trussrod(adjustable but not easy); chrome parts look good; soldering looks good; lightweight; high e-string reduced tension for shipping; fast prep and delivery to UPS for shipping. Cons: high action; bridge saddle channels m ...

Bought it to learn how to set up a guitar. Needed a small neck adjustment, had one buzzing fret. Intonation pretty close. Replaced the neck pickup with a brighter one I bought for $20 on Amazon, have some tuners on order, factory units struggle to hold tune. Very pleased with my unit, plays well, easy to work on and upgrade. Wasn't expecting much, got more than expected. Would buy one again, or recommend to someone starting to play, but not invest a lot of money.

guitar was shockingly good for the price and is great especially for upgrade purposes, I dropped a humbucker in the bridge position and did a few wiring mods and its great. only complaints would be it was really dusty out of the box, the neck was rough, and the wiring was pretty noisy, but i was able to fix all those things easily myself

Arrived in good shape, The frets required leveling and polishing and the bridge pickup is extremely microphonic. But for the price you can't expect perfect. I'll be using the neck and other parts on a body I built myself.

After changing the strings and checking the GTL out closer, I found that the maple neck is thicker than what I expected and the arc of the fingerboard is flatter than optimal. There was some excess glue that dripped from the nut and will have to be sanded off. The frets are acceptable but the edges of the fingerboard are extremely rough along and show marks of a file and will have to be sanded and the entire fingerboard needs to be oiled and treated to protect from drying out.

This is an amazing guitar at this price if you are prepared to do a little work on it before you get started. - took me about an hour. Didn't need to adjust the neck. Used some wire wool to smooth the frets. Used a fine sanding block to clean up the tooling marks on the edge of the frets. I put new strings on, cleaned up and used a pencil on the string grooves in the nut, adjusted the string height, and did the intonation. Now it plays great and sounds really good and stays in tune really well.

I like the guitar---NOW I has to adjust the neck (bowed) Had three high frets that caused buzzing ( filed, crowned and polished all frets) upgraded both pickups with Vintage Alnico single coils and made a made and installed a dummy coil from one of the original coils- plays and sounds great (with no humm btw)

The guitar arrived promptly and overall looked good, a few sharp frets but for the price point it's to be expected. The reason this review is 4 stars and not 5 is because the screw in the top tuner arrived bent which caused the tuner to lean. This shouldn't be a major issues to fix, but it would have been nice if the guitar was playable out of the box.

I purchased this guitar because of the favorable review it received on Youtube by Darrell Braun Guitars---I am very happy with the quality and workmanship at this price point!

The guitar it's self is really pretty color blue. No sign of fret sprouting. The guitar would not stay in tune with the strings that come on the guitar, sorry Glarry the strings are junk. However once I put a set of 9 or 9.5 strings on it and locked the strings ( YouTube how to lock your guitar strings) took a pencil and lubricates the string trees , nut and the saddles it stays in tune longer. I did polish the frets , they were ok out of the box this was more of a personal preference. Neck is c ...

Recieved T style guitar very quickly.. After oiling the neck and quick set up, action was lower than my real Fenders... White scratchplate added for a Rossi/Quo look... Very good and recommended

The reason I gave this a 4 star rating, is because their is a hairline crack in the neck joint. This could have happened during shipping or when the neck was bolted on. I thought about returning it, but since it doesn't affect the performance of it I opted not to. This guitar looks and plays beautifully. Just some intonation problems which I fixed, and I decided to upgrade the tuning machine heads. I just ordered another one a Newer GTL with both a single and double coil pick-up. Brass bridge ...

Good guitar for the money. It arrived about a week and a half after I ordered it. The box it came in was slightly damaged, but the guitar didn't sustain any damage. After a fresh set of strings, it sounds great. Nice clean tones from the neck, center position is hum cancelling, and the bridge is just ok (microphonic). I plan on swapping the bridge pickup out. I could tell it was put together in a hurry, but what do you expect for 89.99?. There was sawdust under the pickguard and in the cavities ...

Very nice looking guitar ,the fret work is done well .it sounds pretty good but the only bad thing is the pickups are microphonic so it feeds back while not playing . Due to covid 19 it took just over 3 weeks to get it but in the past I've received my order in around a week so don't trust shipping times right now

I purchased a GTL transparent yellow Telecaster a few months ago. I've also bought 2 of their GST Stratocasters in the past. I consider myself an advanced beginner who's owned a few inexpensive electric guitars, but also owns a Gibson Les Paul. My comments below go into some detail on the issues I faced, modifications I made, and results obtained. My GTL arrived in excellent physical condition with no dings or other defects regarding its appearance. As with all of the Glarry guitars I've purcha ...

Overall, I was very pleased with receiving my glarry guitar. It feels good to play, however, the string spacing is a little off. There's also a gap in the neck joint and a what looks like a crack in the body, near the neck. I'm concerned that the neck will break off from the body sooner rather than later. Unfortunate.

Love it! Only thing I suggest is making this model a thru body string design.

For the price, this is a super value. Beautiful job on the body color. Mine arrived in perfect condition - no damage during shipment. All I did to make this guitar a little nicer was add a good set of strings, set the action and intonation (neck relief was fine). The other thing I did was go over the neck with 3000 grit sandpaper. The neck now feels satiny smooth and fast. Love that they used the traditional 3-saddle bridge. This guitar plays well and sounds good as it is, and it is also a perfe ...
