Excellent cello! If I have any complaints, and they are only slight, it is that the quality of the rosin that comes with it is quite poor, and I found that getting a good sound was a lot easier after I got some better quality rosin. The bow is also on the lower side of things, as far as quality of construction goes, but it is definitely functional and gets the job done.

We got this for our son who had just started cello lessons at school! We got some quotes from local shops which were very high and did not want to spend that much out the gate. This cello has worked out great and held up very well. He takes lessons several times a week and has had no problems with it, one of his private instructors who teaches at a music school for gifted children saw no problem with the instrument! Great price especially for beginners!

I got my Cello much more quickly than I anticipated it would come in it was in great shape very professionally made and had premium flat wound strings on it was easy to set up I'm totally happy!

My wife is by no means a professional cellist, and only played a little in college, but she wanted to pick it up again so I got her this for our anniversary. She absolutely loves it. It came strung but without the bridge installed, but was really quite easy. A professional would surely have some complaints, but for a beginner or someone on a budget who wants an instrument to practice on, it perfectly fits the bill. It is well-made for what it is and the sound is great.

The body of the cello itself is beautiful. I got the black one and I love it. There are no scratches or imperfections. It's very well assembled. I'm sure it's not the best quality wood, or shaped by any renowned instrument maker, but I feel like it's very nice for the price.

Being as this is not his main instrument, or even one of his top 5, I just wanted something for him to learn on. I was not expecting much for the price I paid, but I very impressed. You get what you pay for. Please keep in mind that instruments like these should be taken to get set up professionally. This will cost roughly $100 more. The distance of the strings from the heel should be roughly 5 mm from the low string and 3mm from the high string. This instrument came with dimensions twice as high making it unhealthy to play. The repair man will most likely need to sand down the bridge and the nut. Also, you will need peg paste to keep the instrument in tune. New strin ...

Let me start off by saying that I have absolutely no experience playing cello, so I don't have a lot of knowledge of the instrument to compare it to. But I would recommend purchasing this instrument. You know right off the bat that if you purchase this item you are getting what you pay for and it is really well worth it.

The Cello itself it gorgeous and I am very happy with however, the bow...The hair is too loose and keeps falling out plus the slide was missing. It also looks like the hair was superglued.
