Very beautiful cello. I had the bridge carved and adjusted at a local music store and I also purchased different strings that were of better quality. It has a great sound that resonates very well.

Beautiful in looks and sound! I have never set up or played a new cello and haven't played in 49 years. The setup was quick and easy and it takes a few days for the instrument and strings ti adjust and stretch. Fantastic experience!!

Got this cello for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it. It sounds good for a starter cello, and looks good as well. Black Friday deal and we received incredible value for our money. I had a local shop set it up properly for $40. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend as a starter cello.

I am giving this 5 stars because for a starter cello it is better than I expected it to be. The strings it came with are not high quality by any means but they are good even to start with. It took about 5 days for the strings to stretch and the whole instrument to settle so it would stay in tune. I used peg dope on the pegs and oiled the fine tuners like I would do to the violins. I was shopping for an electric cello and this one seemed promising, I liked the way it looked, so I purchased the GC301 however, after receiving and trying it I couldn't make it work the way it was intended; I contacted Glarry's customer service and after a few questions and explanation I was able to return it and received a refund; tough I wasn't satisfied with the instrument I'm very happy with their customer service and will not hesitate to buy another Glarry instrument; thank you!

Arrived in great condition! Cello is exactly as described. Some of the reviews I've read prior to purchasing said it doesn't stay in tune. I only partially agree with that. At first it was hard to keep in tune, but as I played it more and the strings settled in, it's proven to stay in tune just fine. Love the quality, and especially for the cost. Very pleased.

As an adult hoping to teach myself the instrument I'd chosen the Glarry 4/4 cello based on the better reviews I've seen. There is no Customer Support with Glarry Music anymore. Within a month after buying a Glarry GC301 cello, the neck came off the cello. I reported this immediately and sent a picture using their system. I received emails from [email protected] (customer service) for a couple of weeks asking me the most pointless questions I ever encountered. This full-size acoustic black cello was a birthday present to my best friend who turned 30 on his birthday and he has been wanting a cello for as long as I have known him. The bow broke within two days, the bridge is a little high and the strings are not the best. A good starting cello but could be better if you put a little money into it to get a new bow, bridge and strings. Good for the price and is playable
