I'm new to cello and purchased this GC101 to start my lessons. I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the instrument for the price. The sound quality in simple AMAZING! Prior to it arriving I was worried about the sound quality but have been impressed beyond belief. It's not the highest quality but that's to be expected. It'll get the job done as long as you take care of it. This is a true beginner's kit that comes with everything you'll ever need including a bow, rosin, bridge, soft carrying-case and extra strings. Out of the box, all you need to do is attach the bridge and rosin your bow. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it to any and everyone looking for a great high quality beginner's cello.
