I'm new to the bass, so I'm maybe not the best person to review the Glarry GP Electric Bass, but I'll tell you what I know: *It's gorgeous. The finish is very, very nice. *It sounds great. I sort of expected less, honestly, from a bass at this price point. *It's not very well balanced. It's head-heavy, meaning you'll have to work at keeping it positioned--but honestly, that's such a small thing in light of how great it looks and sounds for the price.

Just recieved my GP Bass from Glarry and I could not be happier! The overall craftsmanship isn excellent. From tuners to bridge, everything solid quality. Surprisingly well made for the price and sounds just fine. However, the strings were all almost half an inch above the fretboard when it came out of the box. Even after adjusting the bridge to the lowest it could go and tightening the truss rod, the action height is still uncomfortably high and ends up producing a lot of buzz. This may have been a special issue with my specific instrument, but I would take this into consideration before purchasing.

I have never touched an instrument before in my life. During quarantine, I just decided, "bass, why not." The price is NOT A SCAM!! Yes, there is some glossy finish that is peeling slightly at the corner, but that is an easy fix. I am 16 years old but the reported "thick neck" of the bass didn't phase me at all. I simply cannot overstate what a great value this is. Is it just for beginners? Shhhh, don't tell. I've been playing over 40 years. It is a treat for the eyes, ears and my sore neck. My Rickenbacker weighs a metric ton. It kills my neck. This bass is a lightweight heavy hitter. So I have a $2,000 bass sitting in a case while I rock out with my $80 Glarry. Ok I just received my Glarry Jazz bass. First and foremost it looks great. Second and most importantly, the fret edges are smooth as butter. Amp is good. Little fret buzz but that can be fixed easy enough. Love it. Burlywood is the style I picked .

Get one! Sounds great, the pickups are easily the standout. Great sounding bass and playable. I also like the practice amp it came with, perfect for an apartment. If you want to start playing this is the way to go. The durability of the construction is somewhat questionable, about my only criticism. She might not be here for a long time, but she's here for a good time! Now if you'll excuse me I've got some funky jams to kick out!

The bass sounds great and plays good. I have a problem with it though. It seems the way the bridge is made and where it is located makes it impossible to set the correct intonation on the 'E' string. Other than that I am very pleased with the guitar.

I purchased this bass not expecting much because of the price, I was really surprised at the quality of the build. The action is set really high so I did a full setup on it and put a nice set of cobalt flatwound strings on it, Plays very nice, looks spectacular! Could not be more pleased with this company!

As I expected! Very good for the price. Great starting point for anyone who wants to jump into bass. However, quality control could have been better. Some of the fret finishing are rough, so when I play for an extended time, I usually get some minor marks or scratches on the palm and fingers. More, some frets are not leveled with the surrounding frets, for example, my 13th frets are higher than the 12th, so when I play G on the 12th fret - G string, I ended up getting G#. Out of the box, the neck tension rod was loose, action was high, bridge was not adjusted for intonation, fingerboard was very dry and tuners required lubrication. Not unusual for an instrument straight from the factory. Issues fixed with standard setup ($60-$100 at most shops). Bass looks good, is lightweight, stays in tune, plays well, electronics work well with no noise or buzzing. If you can find a better bass for the money-buy it. Hint: You won't find a better bass for the money.

Convinced my mom to buy this for me over a week ago for my first bass. It's a fun hobby to dedicate yourself to since we're all locked inside. I bought the Glarry Jazz bass hoping to be able to make it functional. What I got when the guitar arrived was a total surprise. The bass was beautiful. Wanted an inexpensive bass and amp to play with my sons (guitar and drummer). Had to make some height adjustments to the strings to get rid of fret buzz. Amp was not working but after opening it up, found a connector unplugged to circuit board and that corrected the problem. Overall satisfied with bass and amp for the price. Can't wait to hear the tone with a better amp - not a lot of low end on this little one, but wouldn't expect anything different.
