Purchased this after watching reviews on Youtube regarding low cost basses (my goto is a MIM Jazz Bass.) Nice product for this price - great finish, decent hardware. Great beginner/backup bass. The only knock is that the tuner for the E string stripped out one evening while it was hanging on the wall. Easy fix - about $12 for a Wilkinson. Overall a great buy.

immediately upon touching control knobs fell off little super glue problem solved and with a little adjustment it plays pretty good extremely neck heavy but all in all a good student bass they should have threw in a tuner being it's a student guitar but we'll buy again

It's not bad, but it's not good... but the fretboard is twice the size that a normal bass fret might be. even my 5 string bass has half the size of this fret board. That being said strings are cheep, pickups are loose (easy fix), and the nut is cheep plastic, but the thing is heavy and built like a tank! Small weak fingers might think about another option... overall for the price I would say not bad having it in my collection! 4 of 5

Received my bass a few days ago, had the chance to check it out. Right off the bat I noticed the neck was a little fatter than I would like it, The fret board was comfortable to play. The hard ware such as tuning gears, handles, bridge, and nuts were of very good quality. Guitar was set to arrive 5-7 business days and actually showed up much sooner than that. Right before Christmas. My son loved it and it was beautiful. Unfortunately one of the knobs on the front of the guitar was damaged and not turning properly. I really like this short scale bass, and I'm very glad I bought it. The only problem it had was the output level being VERY VERY low compared to my Glarry GIB 4 and 5 string basses. I got a Musiclily hot rails pickup to replace the original pickup and now it's a perfect instrument. I hope Glarry will re-evaluate their pickup choice for this model.

I bought it, the amp is ok for the money but trust me only works for the bass. The guitar came in prepackaged/ wrapped clean condition and plays nicely. Uhh, i might've tuned the volume knob a little hard and it broke but i guess ill take the blame.

Went to tune the guitar, first string was tuned to G, went to tune to E and it was either too loose or too tight, wound up having the string break. So now I have to order new strings and restring it. Also found the pick ups are extremely loose. The seller worked with me, provided compensation for the issues I had. Now that I've replaced the strings and adjusted the pickups and standoffs it's working well.

The bass itself is great. The included strap broke within 5 minutes, the faux leather is very weak. Included strings weren't that great but he's 4 so I don't wanna buy him top of the line strings anyway. The tuning knobs were slightly loose but that was an easy fix. Everything else was fine, we got it in plain wood so we could decorate it and it's now painted and covered with dinosaur stickers:)

I love this Glarry GIB 6-STRING!!!! I'm surely satisfied with this piece!!! Good solid construction...…Playability all the way up the neck...…NICE WIDE NECK WHICH IS A PLUS FOR US BASS PLAYERS WITH LARGE HANDS!!! The only thing I would recommend is to have stronger bridge/neck soapbar pickups installed so that the low B string notes can "vibrate the concrete"!!!!! Otherwise.....I'M SOLD!!!!!! THANKS FOR ANOTHER ADDITION OF THE 6 STRING BASS!!!!!!

I bought the GP bass in dark blue about 3 weeks ago. honestly I'm very impressed with the guitar. It's sounds great, beautiful finish. The only issue I have is the screws for the strap were too short and kept coming loose.if not for that I would give 5 ⭐. I'm actually going to buy the burning fire model next.

This is more a 3.5 star than 4 star because thus bass has some serious neck dive. The bass alone should be 2.5 star but the company is really great with their fast responses and customer service so I added for that. I'm new to bass and having to focus on holding the neck up as well as trying to figure out where to put my fingers is a real pain. Quite a good value for the price. I copper tape insulated the control cavity and pickup wells to tame the buzzing. Worked very well. I tightened the truss rod, shimmed the neck and it intonated just fine. I played this with a fairly loud drummer through a Rumble 40 for an amped acoustic trio. I wasnt really in the market for a new bass, but when I saw these I changed my mind. It arrived right on time and in perfect condition. The white finish is beautiful and flawless, and the maple fretboard looks killer! The inlays on the fretboard are perfectly done and the fret ends are nicely done! So 4 out of 5. My reason is because I had to adjust the neck and bridge to eliminate some ringing on a couple frets including 1sr fret F and low C. Other than that for the price, quality, sound, packaging, body and all is good. This also is good if you are wanting to try a 5 string bass without breaking the bank. Its not for everyone but yes I would buy this again. Considering the 5 string jazz down the road.

Guitar arrived just fine in standard shipping box. No damage. Glarry uses really cheesy film to protect the pick guard and it is hard to pick off all the nooks and crannies. Pick guard themselves are garbage: They are made of a super soft plastic than can be gouged with just a fingernail. Finish was fine. I did not detect any cosmetic issues. So I am happy with my purchase of this Bass, it does have some issues. It does however look good, have playabilty (reasonable string height) and it works when plugged it. Now for the cons:1) The neck has an indentation on the treble side around the 11th - 12 fret but, doesn't effect the sound or playabilty2) There is a tiny gauge in the pic guard which I could care less about3) It has GLarry on the head stock. also I bought a set of black tuners and the top peg snapped off of one.

Sounds overall good. Great for a beginner bass. Mine came with a stripped truss rod tho which made it have fret buzz that couldn't be fixed by a professional :(

Immediately after receiving the bass, I could not help but notice the amount of quality I got for such a low price. Despite the product description saying that it would include a strap and pick, I did not receive them, however I am not concerned as the quality of the bass overtakes these flaws. The bass was heavily out of tune, but overall the quality is amazing and it plays great.
