Beautiful instrument the craftsmanship is excellent the only kind of negative thing is the action is a bit high an easy fix,but a fantastic bass for 89 dollars great for a beginner.

I liked the affordable price and the look of the blue sunburst jazz bass. My plan was to completely modify it which I did. I sanded and stained the neck a darker color, applied several coats of polyurethane and a final coat of paste wax. While this instrument is completely fine for a beginner, I am more of a seasoned player and was up to the challenge of a fun project. Could I suggest maybe selling only bare body and neck without parts at a lower price which people could build their own instrument to their personal taste? Also, the internet is a wonderful place for information if someone knows where to look, but a beginner might not understand how or even if they need to adjust their truss rod or bridge saddles. Perhaps an included instruction booklet might also be useful as these instruments are catering towards beginners. I also modified a Glarry white P bass in a similar way but less extensive as the jazz. I had a lot of fun with these projects.

For a sub $100 bass it's really great. I just got it learn how to play and it sounds really good for what it is. When it arrived it was well intonated and set up decent, there was only one cosmetic blemish on the tuner but it was minor, the neck has either no finish or a very light finish but once you play it enough it smoothens up and feels good. Great bass would, definitely recommend to a new player.

My Glarry GJazz! "Big Enos" I bought it with the intent to covert it to fret less. I also upgraded the pickups to Guitar Fetish 10k Alnico's. Also the electronics and the bridge. I finished it off with some D'Addario flat wound strings and black screws in the pick guard for added flair. Lol! This bass was great right out of the box I only made it "mine" with the changes. This is my fourth Glarry guitar! I also have a white Glarry violin "Little Enos"! Highly recommended! Great platform for tin ...

Considering the price, I have no choice but to give this 5 stars. Straight out of the box, a few adjustments are needed, but for a beginner, this is perfectly usable. For fun, I ended up completely modding mine, but after a proper setup it would have been totally fine as is. The neck is a bit chunky and some might have issues with that, but I liked it. One of the best, if not the best, starter bass kits I've ever bought. I'd not been playing for quite a few years and needed something to dust off the cobwebs with and this is doing stupendously so far; clean sound, beautiful action on the neck and the body staining is perfect. I'll be sticking with this company for quite some time for my musical needs from now on.

Amazing bass! I'm a beginner but I'm extraordinarily surprised at the quality for the cost. I was expecting the wood to feel cheap and the strings to be unbearable, but it really punches above its weight. If your a beginner looking for a cheap good bass, this is it.

Awesome. Plays great right out of box. Definitely going to upgrade some of the hardware, replace the strings, condition the neck and adjust the action a little, but for the price you cant beat it. Such a great bass. Wont be my last from yall.

Shockingly good value. I have two other more expensive bases, but this has become my favorite in many ways. Changed the strings to a set of nyxl roundwounds. Needed to do a full setup including neck, bridge and filing fret sprouts, but well worth it. Sounds great and plays well. Had a 1963 Fender Jazz Bass many years ago. The Glarry sounds about the same, but with beefier neck, similar to an older Fender Precision neck. Well worth the money.

If you're new to the bass, this is completely normal and needs the truss rod adjusting, and adjustment at the bridge where the strings sit. If you're unsure, visit a couple of YouTube pages, they explain in detail. Once the bass was set up, it played lovely. I didn't think I would get used to it so quick but the connection was immediate. ...

While my IBANEZ is being fixed (anything with batteries in is bound to go wrong, right ?) I bought this as a cheap fill in for some home recording, not expecting much. A little light in weight and the fat neck (which Fenders have, don't they ?) took a little getting used to compared to the IBANEZ but the performance is far better than I expected and, although the strings are new, that crisp sound, same volume on every string, wow ! I can't play slap but I could almost learn with this beauty

Cant fault it or the service. Only 2 or 3 days from ordering to delivery. I don't know how they make them for the price and free delivery. I'm a guitarist who knows a bit about guitar quality and wanted a cheap bass for home recording. The bass is very good for my purposes, no sharp fret ends, straight neck, good action and intonation. Looks good too. Well done.

Just received my GJazz bass via FedEx which came sooner than originally estimated. I can't be more impressed with the guitar especially for the price! The action was rather high, but I easily lowered it. I'll adjust the truss rod in a few weeks once it acclimates which should bring it down to typical action height. Two of the pickup screws weren't all the way seated which was an easy fix. The neck appears to be unfinished and a tad rough for my taste . . . 600 grit sanding did the trick. N ...

No sharp edges on the frets which was a pleasant surprise. So far no issues with it staying in tune. I'm happy with the sound and have no desire to change the pickups . . . I'm using it to record so I can adjust the sound through software if ever needed. The finish is impressive . . . looking close I can see slight remnants of sanding scratches under the clear and an area with what looks like sagging finish that was buffed out. But it's remarkable for an $85 guitar! I'm tempted to buy a few guitars now . . . can't go wrong!

Just got my Glarry jazz bass and have to say wow. This bass is worth the price even at twice the cost. Had to lower action and peal the film of the guard and then play. Great feel and tone. Well worth it and will be getting a P bass in the next few weeks.
