The bass arrived in good condition, after a quick tune I played it for a bit. Action was "not bad" out of the box but I did adjust the neck (loosened the truss rod a quarter turn with the included wrench). Fit and finish were fine for this price level. I am going to file the fret edges on mine and oil the fretboard (it's dry, like on a lot of new instruments), the frets are not razor sharp but with the winter dryness they are sharper than I like. I put on a fresh set of Ernie Ball Slinky strings ...

For the price range, I'm impressed. This one's going to be my "campfire" instrument.

I never leave reviews but this Bass nice, especially for the price. It plays really well and seems well made. There's a preamp that takes a 9volt battery and has an equalizer built into it. The equalizer works really well and allows for a variety of tones. Mine came with a strap and a gig bag. The bag is kind of thin, but it will keep the dust off it and keep it from being scratched. Overall, I am really satisfied with this bass.

First of all there was a problem with the original purchase but the seller is just fantastic to correct the issue I received a replacement promptly and the replacement is perfect it's a beautiful very inexpensive acoustic Bass and decent gigable electronics sound I enjoy playing this worthy bass guitar. Preamplifier EQ , it's got bridge piezo electronics and a decent preamplifier. I substituted the plastic saddle for a brass saddle generic 6 string guitar and the intonation held very close and g ...

The strings are nothing to brag about to say the least they're cheapies but here is the hack I'm going to share with you all you have to do is flatten the underside of the strings with a diamond flat file be very careful not to scratch any frets and keep the guitar tuned and under tension when you do this. Then go one more pass to the underside of the strings where they touch the frets, with very fine rouge grit. I like to use those multigrit fingernail Emery boards. Voila poor Man's flat wound strings. Plays like butter. BTW the materials are sturdy and the truss rod is functional and the plek will shape up to excellent string clearance. The frets could use a good polish and if you really wanted to you could replace the nut but the nut seems to be adequate it's a graph tech knock off.

This is a great guitar for the price. It sounds good, the frets feel good, no sharp edges. It works well plugged in or acoustic. The strap that comes with it is terrible, but that's just nitpicking. The case is okay, but you will likely want to replace it as well. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the bass itself.

I read other reviews that said it was a good guitar for what you paid for it, and I agree. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase, its even a little better than I expected. I lowered the action and replaced the strings, like others suggested, and it made the sound much better. If you want a good acoustic bass for $100, you'll really like it.

Great value for the money. Smaller size acoustic bass, well made for the money! Spruce top, standard hardware for price range, plastic nut and bridge. Plugs in and plays well, on-board electronic pickup functions through the full range of tones clearly. Neck straight but set up is high after 7th fret, can easily be remedied by trimming the bridge in 15 minutes. The bag is worthless except to keep dust off, so pick up a cheap padded gig bag. It arrived very well packed and undamaged. Happy to rec ...

Can't believe what you get for the money looks good, plays good, sounds good. Action is a little high, couple of finish imperfections, some backlash in the tuners, but Overall I would recommend it to anyone.

The action is good right out of the box, but I like it really fast, so I will lower it a bit when I get a lighter set of strings, probably bronze. The bass has a full, rich, acoustic sound, and the electronics work as they should and is a nice added feature. The continuing shortfall is the gig bag, a padded bag is a must. Adding $10-15 to the total price to upgrade ...

The same can be said of the cable, the upgraded cable should come with all models. Glarry, You might want to consider for future runs, an all Blonde, (Burlywood), finish guitar, Having the sides and back the same color as the front, with an unstained, satin finished neck would be awesome! Shipping the guitar with pickgaurd not attached to allow the buyer to decide if they want it on or not would be a nice option.

Everyone should have one of these Glarry acoustic/electric basses! It's a real nice bass guitar and its fun to play. It has a great tone acoustically and can rock out when amplified. I highly recommended this. Glarry has done a great job building a nice instrument!

Now I was just reading reviews before ordering and WELL . . Started playing a cello at 12 in 1986 but switched over to bass in time. Regrettably went through comas hence a brain tumor for an accumulation of 10 years but music is just my mental therapy ! The fact that Glarry makes things able to get easily IS A TRUE BLESSING !!!
