I have been playing guitar for over 46 years and during that time I have played every kind of guitar imaginable both professionally and now semi-retired at home and in studio. I used to own a Fender Thinline Telecaster but due to rock and roll being an emotional sport it got destroyed during my younger days in an argument with the singer. I had read and heard a lot about Glarry guitars so decided - when a semi-hollow became available - to take a chance on one as they are so cheap price-wise, I felt I had nothing to lose. All I can say is - wow, what a beautiful guitar. When I began playing I would have dreamed of having an instrument of such quality but all that was available was awful. The neck humbucker is warm and sweet. Middle position is really nice and balanced. The bridge pickup is okay but - for me at least - I will be swapping that out for a slightly higher output pickup, but that is not a complaint at all. If you are a beginner or intermediate player you will be delighted with this guitar straight out of the box. For an experienced old dog like myself, it is a great guitar for me to setup and make a few small changes so that once again I have a Thinline Telecaster style guitar in my collection for recording and live work. I can also only speak in the highest regard about the level of customer service I received from the Glarry team and I will definitely be buying another guitar from them very soon to encourage my grandchildren to become players. 5 stars all the way.
