Lifelong player..my first Glarry. Wish there was a 6th star in ratings. A hundred dollars and the fret finishing on this one is as good as my Epi Custom Shop. Like most, i had to do intonation, action fine tuning etc and it's awesome. The finish is better than the pictures, no kidding. I bought 3 more guitars and expect they'll all be as stellar. Nice guitar. 0 complaints.

In January of this year I bought this guitar. Out of the box it was set up fine. No complaints on that. It played and sounded great. The neck was smooth and fast. The only problem with the neck had slight fret sprouts on the high E side, but just barely. No big deal. The finish is great. Very nice. Good Job Glarry. I will probably by another guitar from you.

Don't know what happened to my first review on this guitar, so here is another review: This is my second Glarry so the brand works for me. Leveled the frets, still have the original strings on it, sounds good, one more leveling and fret polishing round and the guitar will play as good as anything else I own. Tuners and bridge work well and hold the tune decently. No flaws in the black paint and the shipping time was top notch. Satisfied customer.

I absolutely loved it! The action was already perfect straight out of the box!!! Once I tuned and stretched the strings a little, I barely put it down until I had to go to bed. Thanks for making such a good and affordable product Glarry! I already added a hanger on the wall for it with my others!

My Wife bought this for me for Christmas using my account in October. Having owned it now for 6 months I can safely say I really love this guitar. I love Glarry's transparent finishes, and I think the green is one of the most beautiful. It's a great player, and the single coils do what a tele style guitar is supposed to do. Sounds awesome for any genre. The price for what you get so far outshines a squire affinity it's not funny. There are brand snobs out there who would argue that. Trust me ...

Six days from NJ to ND, not too bad, with a Saturday and a Sunday in there too! Yes, the packaging looks pretty sparse, but this thing got here without a scratch or a dent! AND IT IS AMAZING! RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! I've paid tons more for a guitar, that had to be "set up" before it played well, sometimes, to play it at all. Not this one! I tuned it up, threw one of my favorite vintage straps on it, plugged in my Fender Mustang Head Phone Amp, grabbed the Bose wireless and got BUSY... I played ...

I recently found a "95" George Fullerton Signature Legacy Strat, Number 38, from his personal collection. Granted, this won't win a contest with that guitar, but if you want something that has great looks, near perfect fit and finish, for under $100, you gotta get one of these Glarry's!! My GF Legacy has me down a rabbit hole, digging into the history, building a collection of stuff Fender, Musicman and G&L related. I've never had a "tele" style guitar before, just the history of this style of guitar makes it a fantastic addition to my collection, and it looks GREAT... George would be proud of your work! All I have to do now, is figure out which one of your FANTASTIC guitars to grab next!!

I came back! I've had my GTL for just over a week now, played it more than any new guitar within that time frame, and now I can point out a few issues. Even if I could, it still gets 5 BIG stars, so read on about my nit-picking. I saw a couple of reviews that said the frets were rough, or gritty. Here's what I found out: These strings are a few notches below average (the price of this thing is a bunch of notches below, don't forget) they don't stay in tune well. Back to that fret issue, these strings have some kind of metal dust or grit on them, they turned my G&L White thin pick almost black... that's not where your fingers touch... the grit, I think, is from the strings, not the frets. Once I gave it good wipe with a little polish, nothing felt gritty. Speaking of the frets! I looked at a Epi LP, on sale at a major nationwide "guitar center" for $199. I grabbed it to remove it from the rack, and almost cut my fingers on the frets, just by touching it! ALL of THEM had what felt like an 1/8 of an inch poking out on both sides... "shred" with this thing will "truly shred... your fingers", how do they put a guitar out, for you to look at, in that condition? I got it, they don't want you to buy the "sale" guitar... the costly one's "feel so much better". Next, the guitar is SO DARK BLUE, unless you have a spot light on it, you are playing a "black" guitar. I like black guitars too! Finally, I don't know if it could be corrected, while maintaining an unbelievable price, the neck, the body, and the strap pegs don't aligin. It is "neck heavy" and wants to drop down, pulling the strap with it... again BIG DEAL RIGHT! It does however, take some getting used to "supporting" that neck, and playing at the same time. I grabbed some quick pics... The reason I got this, is I wanted to get my Fullerton Signature into my luthier to restore it to as close of condition as it would have been when the inspector signed the tag on 02/21/1995. He said 2 weeks or a bit more, I was number 111 in his list of guitars waiting for the doctor. I didn't want to go that long, without anything to play. It's not like putting your car in the shop, no one offers a "loaner"... hmmmmmm... wonder about that as a side business... "rent a guitar"... buy Glarry's, in 2 or 3 rentals, it's paid for... maybre I should not have said that here... LOL Had to include one pic of my GF Legacy too. Stop thinking about it and GET ONE OF THESE!

Guitar strap pin fell out mid jam session, less than a month after I purchased it. Took extra special care of this new guitar too, never left the case unless it was being played or set up. Customer service gets a zero stars for trying to remedy the situation by telling me to GLUE it back in! Not acceptable. Apparently all Glarry guitar strap pins are the buyers issue and need to be glued in at the owner's expense, where is the quality control anymore!?

I love my Glarrys. I have 2 now and bought a 3rd for a friend so they could get back into guitar. Owning a Glarry means you'll need to learn a little bit about guitars...like "how to adjust a truss rod" to your preference (turn a screw), and maybe an intonation of a string (turn a screw while on a tuner), or maybe the nut needs a little bit of graphite for smooth string movement (add graphite powder). If you're looking for a perfectly-set-up guitar that's been looked at by 5 people an ...

Get into guitars.

My second GTL purchase. I bought it with sole purpose of making it into an instrument that didn't exist here. Using parts from a less-than-perfect 36-inch kids bass, I crafted a GTL bass. Surprisingly easy with a few mods. Should get a few fun double takes at the next jam session.

For the price,I can hardly believe the quality of this guitar! I love the maple finger board, tuners are great, haven't put it through an amp yet, but I'm already satisfied with the purchase. Would definitely recommend this guitar. If you have no experience with setting up a new guitar I would recommend you take it to your local music store for a professional set up. (IMO ALL brand new guitars need to be set up for each player's comfort and ease of fingering) If you're thinking about this guitar ...

Excellent guitar for the price! Plays very well. Sounds like a Tele. Had a local luthier smooth the sides of the frets. Plays a well as my American California Stratocaster.

My low expectations were set too high for this purchase. The craftsmanship is terrible; I have scratches under the finish on the back of the body, deep gouges on the fretboard, blown out drill holes for the fret marker inlay, rough tarnished fret wires made from the softest cheap metal available. There is a terrible buss at the 9th fret on the A and D string, and looking down the neck there is good relief on the low E side while practically dead flat on the high E side, so I'm assuming the neck ...

The overall quality of the guitar doesn't seem worth putting the money into having it professionally set up. The high E string broke within 5 minutes of getting it out of the box. Perfectly tuned with good intonation at the 12th fret, the first fret on all strings registers extremely sharp. I didn't expect a perfect guitar for this price, but I did expect a fun and playable guitar without multiple obvious flaws. I highly recommend against buying this guitar. I'm very disappointed.

Good customer service compensates for overall quality. I'm very satisfied with what I've paid for now. The neck has adjusted well, but fret wires weren't seated. The holes in the saddle that hold the strings we're too small and make it easy for the string to break. A days work and new strings and a better nut have done a lot, but I'll need the frets to be filed to remove the buzzing. Great price for a project guitar.

VERY NICE Tele for the bucks!!!!!....... LOVE inexpensive guitars!...... With a quick home set-up, which most of us can do easily, these Glarry guitars are a total STEAL!...... Puts the Squiers to shame at a fraction of the price!....BUY ONE (or more, like I did!!!!!!)......

I'll tell you what... This guitar kicks a$$! You'd be hard pressed to find a guitar this good at $500 dollars let alone $89!! I have Fenders etc... But for the price and a few tweeks you can't beat these guitars! Extremely satisfied and will order again!

Now, as with all new guitars shipped across time-zones, it did require a little bit of set up work. I normally do a complete set up (to include some fret work as needed), but in this case I didn't have my fret tools handy. I was able to do everything else (new strings, string height, intonation, etc) and spent the aftern ...

I have never owned a tele, much less a three barreled bridge, so it took some getting used to, but I have to say it is doing really well. Once I get the frets sorted out (I have been able to identify roughly 8-9 fret areas that need some tweaking) then this will play as well as any of my other guitars. Ok, Glarry, you made a believer out of this aging skeptic. Thanks. I will probably order one of the semi-hollow telecaster versions soon. My only regret on this GTL tele is that you didn't have it in a red burst rather than the blue. :)

The color wasn't yellow, it was orange and a grayish color along the grain lines. It also was very low quality parts and build. Came in a very flimsy box. On the good side was its price and it arrived very quickly.

My new favorite guitar. Needed nothing. Out of the box, clean, flawless, smooth necks. Great frets! Smooth tuners and pick ups sharp and responsive. It plays and feels better than my Fender. Price is crazy low and quality is in the clouds. Buy this guitar. You'll love it. If you're gifting, they will be speechless!!! Rock on Glarry. I see another order coming soon!!!!
