Bass arrived early, plays excellent. I did raise the pickups by placing plastic foam under them. This was not required but I did it to get additional volume. This 6 string is perfect for me! I have big fingers and other 6 strings I bought from other companies neck was too skinny. Two months ago I bought a 6 string bass for $700 and honestly, I like the Glarry 6 String better, and it only cost $129.99!!

This is the best 6 string bass I have purchased. The output of the pickups is low but I do use a multi effect pedal and it boost the signal as I desire. What I like most about the bass is the tone and the feel, it fit me perfectly. I have paid $700 for 6 string before and I prefer this Glarry over it! i was worried this would show up beat up and broken or something, but though the box came a little beat up from transit, the Guitar was perfectly safe inside its protective layer of Styrofoam, and came out even more beautiful than the images suggested. works great, sounds amazing, great product, especially for the price!

It doesn't have powerful output, but the setup out of the box was close to perfect only took a few minutes to set it perfect for myself. Glarry 6 string Bass is a great Bass! BUY IT! Very skeptical before purchase because of the low price. I've picked up "cheap" instruments before but this doesn't feel cheap. Solid feel, nice out of the box playability. Wiped down, tuned up and ready to go. It's not a "Name Brand" but solid. I will at some point change out the electronics to get my own sound. For the present time, I will play it and enjoy it. A solid BUY for a budget 6 string bass!!

I wasn't really expecting much for a 6 string bass for only 130 bucks. When i got it and opened it up it looked awesome. After tuning it up and adjusting the anchors to stop the buzzing it plays great! Great 6 string bass for anyone that wants to start out. I've been playing bass for 21 years so i approve.

I purchased this as a gift and I'm amazed at how beautiful it is! The gift recipient was completely enamoured with the bass. Once they adjusted it a bit, they played a bit for us and it sounded fantastic, especially for the price. Overall a phenomenal find. Also, the shipping was lightning fast!! 10/10 would buy again

This is my 4th guitar from this manufacturer, so I knew to expect good value for a decent product. This one is even better. Very hard to find a 6 string bass for under $300. The only complaint I have is the low B string suffers a volume drop off - I suspect the pickup is not quite wide enough to get full signal. I lower the acting on that string and it helped a bit, I will also use a compressor/sustainer to boost the volume on that string. It is not a big complaint considering how little I paid, ...

A different pickup set *might* fix it but would also cost more than I paid for the instrument. The strings sound great, the action was nearly perfect and just needed small tweaks, the intonation was even nearly spot on, right out of the box. I think it has two truss rods, which a good 6 string bass should have due to neck width. This instrument will become my preferred one, and I have some more expensive ones. My bandmates already commented on hearing my play more chords. Nice!

I received my new Glarry 6 string bass today. The burly wood looks amazing. This bass sounds great I'm very happy with this bass. Glad I bought it! This is a very comfortable bass to play for me. I have large hands, and the neck on this bass fits my left hand perfectly. I do need to set the intonation-which I had expected-but other than that, the string height and truss rod were adjusted perfectly when I got it. The frets are perfect! It's not bad, but it's not good... but the fretboard is twice the size that a normal bass fret might be. even my 5 string bass has half the size of this fret board. That being said strings are cheep, pickups are loose (easy fix), and the nut is cheep plastic, but the thing is heavy and built like a tank! Small weak fingers might think about another option... overall for the price I would say not bad having it in my collection! 4 of 5

Dual truss rod is a nice feature at this price, and the neck has taken a nice, flat setup with no issues. No conplaints here, only positives.

NO padded gig bag with Glarry logo, or the nice heavy metal ended instrument cable, instead we're back to the unpadded gig bag and .99 cent Radio Shack cable. Glarry, You should include the upgraded bag and cable for all your guitars, even if it raises the price $15-20, it's worth it. The VI played OK right out of the box but will benefit greatly from a basic setup ...

The VI played OK right out of the box but will benefit greatly from a basic setup. The neck needed minor adjustment to the truss rods, yes, I said rods, there are two, after the Bass climatized to my local environment. The string action was a little high at both the nut and bridge, and I found it needed a neck shim. The shim ( sliver of a business card) and setting the action it took about 10 minutes to adjust to my taste. Intonation was near spot on, and again took 10 minutes to set. I needed to adjust the pickup height to raise them for better response. and found that the pickup cavities were a bit of a tight fit, adding 1-2mm to the size of the route in the CNC program would solve this issue on future runs. I decided to add shielding to the electronics cavity to stop some noise I was getting from my lighting. For purely cosmetic reasons, I switched out the hardware for black. The bridge is exactly the same model, and the tuners and knobs are also the same type, just in black. The Neon green strings, well, that's my way of adding bling! But they sound good too! After setup, the GIB VI plays and sounds great, is well balanced, not super heavy, and a great choice for someone wanting to try a 6 string bass. Note: The GIB VI does not fit the Glarry rectangle Bass Case unless you detune the upper tuners inline with the headstock, as the case is not deep enough. Glarry's other Bass case is deeper, but I haven't tried one to see if it fits. The Fender gig bag I mentioned in an earlier post doesn't quite fit either, the VI is a bit too wide at the upper horn, but the Gator bag I bought for my V fits the VI perfectly!

Its decent for the price, the neck has no oil in the wood. The B string was already falling apart and does not resonate well. Frets are set nicely, build is good. Not playable out of the box at all. Need to finish doing a set up but that is to be expected for a $150 bass.

I love this Glarry GIB 6-STRING!!!! I'm surely satisfied with this piece!!! Good solid construction...…Playability all the way up the neck...…NICE WIDE NECK WHICH IS A PLUS FOR US BASS PLAYERS WITH LARGE HANDS!!! The only thing I would recommend is to have stronger bridge/neck soapbar pickups installed so that the low B string notes can "vibrate the concrete"!!!!! Otherwise.....I'M SOLD!!!!!! THANKS FOR ANOTHER ADDITION OF THE 6 STRING BASS!!!!!!

Can I give this more than 5 stars? Mine just arrived today and it is fantastic! Beautiful flawless finish and well set up. Great sound although I'm going to add more foam or some springs under the pickups to raise them closer to the strings. That's about the only negative thing I have to say. In a couple of days I'll put on new strings, oil the fretboard, and make any necessary adjustments as I do on all my new instruments. Once I do, I have a feeling I'm going to be grabbing this one to play a ...
