Great price! One of the strings broke as we were tightening them, but the cello came with an extra set of strings, so we had a replacement! Shipping was great and timely!

I bought this for one of my students who's just starting out. The sound is warm, and the spruce top looks beautiful in person. It needed some tuning out of the box, but once set up, it played well for the price.

Beautiful in looks and sound! I have never set up or played a new cello and haven't played in 49 years. The setup was quick and easy and it takes a few days for the instrument and strings ti adjust and stretch. Fantastic experience!!

Got this cello for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it. It sounds good for a starter cello, and looks good as well. Black Friday deal and we received incredible value for our money. I had a local shop set it up properly for $40. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend as a starter cello.

It took about 5 days for the strings to stretch and the whole instrument to settle so it would stay in tune. I used peg dope on the pegs and oiled the fine tuners like I would do to the violins. It stays in tune and sounds decent for a cheap instrument. I ordered a better bow before I even received the cello since I had read so many reviews about cheap cellos coming with unusable bows. I was surprised when this arrived the the bow wasn't warped or twisted. The wooden bow it came with is usable. Not as well balanced as the carbon fiber bow I bought but still something you could start learning with. The bridge isn't perfect but it is pretty close to fitting the instrument. It would only need a small adjustment from a luthier. I am using it just how it is and don't have a huge complaints. The string height is correct. I was also happy with the shipping. I think it took about a week but I live in Maine and this shipped from California. There were a couple dings on the box but zero damage to the instrument. Not even a scratch. This is the cello I will suggest in the future to people that want something cheap to learn with.

I've been wanting to learn how to play the cello and finally decided to give it a shot with this student cello. I was nervous because this is my first time buying a musical instrument online. It arrived well packaged with not a scratch or ding. All this for a cello newbie and so far I'm off to a great start! The sound is lovely. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Very good instrument. It was shipped quickly and arrived faster than expected. There was a hole in the box, but the Instrument is very well protected, there was no damage. I was surprised by the quality of the instrument for the price charged. Small adjustments were needed to make the strings lower, but it was simple. Very good sound.

The instrument looks so beautiful and definitely worth the money. Our cello teacher says this is a good piece for beginner. It may not a good fit for professionals but for students, the piece does the job great!

We do not know too much about cellos, but we needed one for our daughter for her music class. We tried to rent one but it's expensive. This seemed 1/2 price from rent and we could keep it... For our beginner daughter, this worked out great.
