I bought this for my son to use at school. He loves it. It was difficult to get it tuned at first, but his teacher said that was pretty common with new violins. Having the tuner included was also helpful. A Nice instrument for the price.

It's a great violin for a beginner. It's not too expensive but at the same time it gets the job done. When my violin arrived I did have to do some minor set up with the violin strings. Sounds great after tuning, I love it!

Great price for a starter violin. We did need to get it adadjusted. But I can't complain since it does come with a ton of accessories. We did not want to invest too much until we knew she would actually practice.

The violin was for my Granddaughter who lives in North Las Vegas and she loves it , she has been in a band and school orhestra and I was finally able to get her one, and she doesn't have to borrow one from the school. Great buy!

Great buy for the price. It comes with so much, I wonder how they can sell this for so cheep. Thanks for making my daughter happy and she is now taking lessons. I was told by her violin teacher that the violin sounds great. I highly recommend this buy for any child getting lessons.

Had a friend who plays professionally play my Violin and he said it sounded good to him (which says a lot for the price). He sounded great to me! Friend did suggest a new shoulder rest which I bought and I'm enjoying.

I bought this violin to reacquaint myself with playing. It was relatively easy to set up and start playing. It has a good sound and plays well. I'm certain the sound will open up more the more that I play it.

I'm an adult that wanted to start learning violin for the first time. This violin is beautiful, all-wood,and everything came as expected. It's not a very high quality violin, but it is excellent for it's price point. The case is great, the tuner is ok, not the best design but adequate and nice that they included it in this kit. Great beginner violin set.

Update 2 months in: Still working great. Had to adjust two of the pegs since they were not fully seated. Original strings still working.

I can't say much in comparison to a more expensive violin as this is the first one I have ever played. I docked one star because my bow seems a bit roughly made. It lost quite a few hairs at the start. So far I am loving it!

I have given four lessons to my granddaughter already and she knows the names of the strings and bows very nicely and started playing using her fingers. She just might stick with it. Pleasantly happy. Arrived in good condition. Tuner works great. I wanted to limit my investment since i hadn't played in approximately 27 years (since middle school) and wasn't sure if stick with it. Overall for $100 it seems like a great deal having it shipped to your place.

The teacher recommended a brand that would cost five times plus more than this one. I wanted my granddaughter to have this to try. She has completely about 3 months of lessons with it and it is still working and she loves the lesson. Definitely worth the money.

It is a $100 violin, its not going to be amazing. It stays in tune better than I expected, but I would recommend immediately replacing the strings and getting a better shoulder rest. It so far works.
