Setup was straightforward and I got playing within minutes. It's not a professional?grade instrument, but for learning, practice, or experimenting with electric violin sound, it definitely does the job.
The body is comfortably sized for a full?size 4/4 violin, and it's surprisingly easy to play and tune. For a beginner or casual player looking for an affordable electric violin, this is a great choice.
I recently received this pink GV501 and couldn't wait to try it out. The pink color is adorable and stylish, both practical and eye-catching. Definitely my favorite beginner electric violin!
We received the violin quickly. You do get what you pay for. Our daughter has played violin for several years & was looking for a lower price electric violin to see if it's something she'd be interested in. Two strings have already broken, within first three days of use. The violin has runs in the paint, rough patches, very cheaply made....but we got what we paid for.
The violin looks great and works fine when plugged in, but the acoustic sound is really weak. Also, some parts felt a bit flimsy out of the box. Decent for beginners.
