Although I'm not a beginner, having not played for many years, I picked this up as a spare and was pleasantly surprised. The keys were a bit sticky compared to my other saxophones, but it played effortlessly. While the keys may lack the ultimate smoothness of more expensive models, they function well. With the included mouthpiece and reed, playing was easy—I didn't have to be as precise with my embouchure compared to other setups. As one progresses, embouchure naturally improves over time, but this saxophone is very beginner-friendly and great for building confidence while learning. Overall, it's a fantastic instrument for the price!

Excellent and enjoyable. The quality is impressive, and it has a nice feel to it. The packaging was well done and not too difficult to open. The neck strap is comfortable, and the swabs work wonderfully.

It's been 20 years since I last played in middle and high school, and this saxophone is perfect for someone looking to get back into playing without breaking the bank. Despite the package being a bit beat up from shipping, the saxophone inside the well-packed case arrived unharmed with everything as advertised. While the included accessories are budget-friendly items, they are sufficient for beginners starting from scratch. I made the mistake of initially dismissing the synthetic reed that came with it, but it actually produces a full sound and might even be better than the cane reeds that often accompany saxophones. I recommend investing a bit more in a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece and some quality cane reeds (like size 2.0 or 2.5 for more experienced players, and 1.0 or 1.5 for beginners). Always test cane reeds before splurging on expensive synthetic options like Légère, which can cost $30 per reed. Regarding the saxophone itself, I'm impressed by the quality craftsmanship, good pads for the price, and beautiful finish. The mouthpiece and neck fit perfectly, and none of the keys stick. Overall, I'm amazed by the value and quality offered by Glarry. While the sound may not be as warm as higher-end saxophones, it's more than adequate for beginners and intermediates. Would I recommend this product to others in these skill levels? Absolutely.

I rated it 4 stars mainly due to the poor quality of the included mouthpiece. However, once I switched to my own high-quality mouthpiece, the saxophone played exceptionally well.
