The bass I received was excellent, I was actually shocked at the sound and playability, because of the price, I wasn't expecting much but BOOM! this thing is amazing. Mine is very light weight compared to several other basses I have owned & played. I'm stunned at how decent this bass turned out to be. I really love it. I'm primarily a guitarist, but needed a 6 string bass for some recording and toying around and stumbled on this bad boy. The one star is me being generous. I ordered a blue guitar they sent me a black and white one it had scratches on it. It has obviously been used on top of that. They try to make it seem like it was my fault. Poor customer service have yet to speak to a live person. Unbelievable value for this guitar! I've been seeking an HSH guitar to add to my collection and couldn't pass up the price for this Glarry GST. I am so happy I ordered another one of these models. The frets are fantastic. After I loosened the truss rod and lowered the Action I nailed it with no fret buzz. Minor adjustment on saddle height. Playing this is a breeze. This $90 Strat copy is just as good as a $200 Squier. Thank you everyone at Glarry for coming through for me with flying colors!!

Update Four STARS. After Lynn resolved the issue I am pleased with the guitar. Nice fit and finish. Plays and sounds great for a short scale ( 24 in.). Glarry is putting in the effort to improve their quality. Keep it up.

Much better quality than I expected. I did have to do major adjustments for the intonation and had to file the nut slot for the E string, it was much too high. If you know how to make these adjustments, you will have a reasonably playable instrument.

I received the product in excellent condition despite the damage done to the exterior of the packaging. The paint/finish work looked pretty good, I did notice sanding scratches on the body under the final finish & one tiny paint bubble that popped & left a pit. The neck is straight but dry, the frets are seated well but have a small amount of sprouting the further you go down the neck. For the price ($110) it is a very good deal. The guitar plays nicely and stays in tune. The amp also works well for a 20 amp practice amp.

This little bass sounds HUGE. With a decent amp I get great throaty tones that growl when I need them to. there's plenty of bite and punch available when you need it. The build quality is good. The finish looks like it's a stain with a simple waxing done to protect it. This is just how the original high end bases that this one emulates were done. Just got my Glarry HSH Strat today and am very happy with it. I had to set up the action like I like but once I did it sounds as sweet as a bird. Everything is awesome except the 24th fret is popped up and twisted. The only string effected is the low E string and it deadens the last 3 frets. I will either fix it, replace it, or remove it. No big deal.

Six days from NJ to ND, not too bad, with a Saturday and a Sunday in there too! Yes, the packaging looks pretty sparse, but this thing got here without a scratch or a dent! AND IT IS AMAZING! Guitar strap pin fell out mid jam session, less than a month after I purchased it. Took extra special care of this new guitar too, never left the case unless it was being played or set up. Customer service gets a zero stars for trying to remedy the situation by telling me to GLUE it back in! Not acceptable. Apparently all Glarry guitar strap pins are the buyers issue and need to be glued in at the owner's expense, where is the quality control anymore!?
