Been a pro bass player forever. Own a number of custom handmade basses. Reading reviews of the new instruments on the internet prompted me to purchase a 5 string Glarry. I really love this bass! The amp cord is surprisingly good also. I'm going to purchase the p bass next. Lots of fun upgrades you can do to these guitars and not worry. This Bass has been amazing. It cam well protected in it's packaging, it looks amazing, sounds great, easy intonation. The neck is really smooth. The only thing I didn't like was the original strap it came with. It was kind of cheap and not very comfortable. So I put a larger leather strap on it and the neck dive after that wasn't bad at all. For the pricing, you couldn't go with a more decent 5 string bass. I'm very pleased!

I would have given it 5 stars, but it needs work to be playable. I sanded the saddle down a good bit on the bottom to lower the string action because it was extremely high. It easily pops out when you remove the strings. I also put new strings on it and that made a huge difference in sound output and tone. It sounds much better now. This guitar is really fun to play! The bass arrived today and it is incredibly excellent for the price! I wish I had this 50 years ago when I was bassing in bands (this is for my daughter). Only thing, the case is too short. I guess it's a standard guitar bag. Requested a longer one from CS. Also, I was unable to track the shipment through PayPal so I emailed customer service at Glarry and they responded with tracking info. That means a lot to me. I'll be buying more stuff.

Another fantastic bass! I have purchased 5 glarry basses, 3 fretless and two fretted. I can't say how amazing the basses are. I can't believe how silent the jazz basses are,I get more hum from my fenders then my glarrys.and the 5 string jazz bass are fantastic, that low b sounds just as clean as the e string.will be picking up another bass asap. Shipping is fast I just wish they had more colors for the fretless basses.
