For a very inexpensive guitar this thing is awesome! A little setup and intonation it plays pretty good. I'll probably replace the tuners down the road and maybe get a cheap brass or steel tone block. Perhaps better bridge saddles. But otherwise it's good as is especially for the money!

Really like this strat , except for the neck pocket. You really need to do the routing for the neck pocket better. The body was excellent very minor scratches .I rerouted the neck pocket and installed a rosewood tele neck .I also changed all the electronics.guitar is awaiting a new bridge then it's finished.

Before I get into it, some quick details for modders! 10mm Tuners, and 2 1/16" Bridge spacing. The guitar looks good, the chunk of maple the neck was made from looks good. The fretboard was pretty decent; no sharp fretwire sticking out. Fretends could use slight rounding. Was able to do a setup with low action, intonating within +/-4 using GuitarTuna Chromatic Tuner. Low E would constantly fluctate in and around your tune. The strings are pretty bad, accidentally broke the D string adjusting a ...

Low E would constantly fluctate in and around your tune. The strings are pretty bad, accidentally broke the D string adjusting action today after changing the Nut and Tuners. New strings on the way. Original tuners are not half bad. Sealed and very functional. Original Nut will be getting cut into by the strings, will need to replace after little use. Bridge is hard to work with, the screws for action are far too long, once you've adjusted for lower action you will have about a quarter inch of sharp screws sticking out so palm muting is NOT comfortable. Guitar does not sound too bad or play too bad though, worth the price or more. I had high hopes for this guitar, however the guitar I received had a few issues, one might be a knish issue. 1. The screws do not seat straight into the neck. 2. There is a small gap between the body and the back of the neck, likely due to the mounting pilot holes not being drilled straight. 3. (possibly knish) There is about an 1/8" gap between the finger board and the body. 4. (easily fixable) There were a few scuffs and dings in the neck, but it comes quite chunky and sanding it down a few layers is well rewarding.

Nice solid guitar for the price. Would recommend. I did put different strings on though. The ones that came on it would fret out. New ones didn't. Plays great!

I have watched several videos on these guitars and heard good and bad things about them. They are made with a lot of machining and fewer human hands than an expensive instrument. You should expect minor imperfections. Mine had the tiniest bit of wood filings coming from one side of the nut slot. Just a little ...

There are two very small imperfections in the paint job that are barely noticeable. It plays great and looks really good! Any student would be jumping for joy to have one of these! I have been playing for almost thirty years now and have had so many guitars I forget how many!?! These are what to get if you want one you can do what you want with or are just starting out. I might add Dragonfire pickups later although the pickups actually sound great. I was worried about the tuning machines but they are good enough and hold tune as well as can be expected! It arrived VERY QUICKLY! It's not super light or too cheap feeling, just rapidly made with slightly less attention to menial details that make other guitars collectors items or very expensive. I have a Bass guitar and a case on the way and will likely buy more in the future. These are some of the lowest cost instruments with the highest quality I've seen at the price! Check out one of these and don't be afraid to do what you want with it!

Not bad at all! I love the feel of the neck! Great job Glarry! I setup the neck and got the intonation set. Plugged into the headrush pedal board amp simulator and this guitar rocks for the money! It definitely has a Stratocaster style sound. Once i dialed in the same type rig Jimmy Hendrix used, The glarry guitar had no problems with getting that old strat tone. The pickups are pretty quiet and work perfect when useing studio expander gates and noise filters. The guitar is as quiet as a peep. G ...

This arrived in excellent condition. It needs a setup, but most guitars in this price range always do. It sounds fantastic for the price. I am happy with the purchase and plan to purchase more guitars from glarrymusic.com in the future.

My Glarry Copy is, well, perfect. Shipping: Perfect. Completely equipped. My model guitar, is manufactured by Glarry extremely light in it's weight, which improves sound. A winner in my book overall. I talked 3 of my buddy's into buying this guitar (great price) I couldn't get happy with the neck set-up so I pulled it off (Im a Journeyman Toolmaker from Detroit) and I build guitars. What I found was half the neck pocket had THICK paint (see attached photo) the paint is about .060 thousands thick. Im a retired toolmaker and I have a bridgeport in my garage. I set it up and milled the neck pocket and problem solved. Love this guitar now. Looking forward to buying the yellow Te ...

When I opened the box and took a look at what I bought, I was instantly taken back at how beautiful this guitar is! The clear CANDY GREEN with the wood grain showing was spectacular. The neck feels like it was unfinished witch I really like. There was no fret sprout, and for me I also found that the maple neck and the Bass wood body gave me a great connection to the guitar. These two(2) woods seem to work very well together. The machine heads are ok but, I bought this for myself so I put on ...

These two(2) woods seem to work very well together. The machine heads are ok but, I bought this for myself so I put on new strings and locking tuners. I also lightly sanded and polished the frets. Then re strung and set the intonation. the pickups sound good but I may upgrade them as well in the future. The work I did was not necessary. It played well right out of the box, but the action was a bit to high for my taste. After playing it for about 4-5 weeks the wood settled into place and is know my go to guitar. Needless to say, you get a big bang for your buck!! Only one flaw, the radius was not cut proper. It does NOT effect the playability I loved this guitar so much that I am know the owner/distributor of GLARRY MUSIC CANADA sincerely Michael Brien Sorrell

Purchased a GST in green w/maple neck. I simply can't believe a fifty two dollar guitar can look as good as this guitar looks. I am 65 and have begun working on guitars. So I got it to use as a project guitar. Completely gutted it, installed Fender Texas Specials, Gotoh tuners , Fender bridge and custom pick guard and it now it looks, plays and sounds incredible. I love it and can't take my eyes off it. All for 200.00, I have a viable guitar ready for the stage. Only criticism I find body is a ...
