Tuning it was a non-issue, my son actually kept the original strings and tuners. We have not touched intonation or string height yet, and the truss rod was already perfect.

Not a bad little guitar! Got it, restrung it, set it up with intentions of modding it. First thing I noticed when plugging in is the pickups were not half bad! All I really need to do is replace the nut (Graph Tech, baby!) and MAYBE the tuners, and its a giggable axe! Lightweight, good feeling neck, and as previously stated. decent pick ups!

I was pleasantly surprised that glarry contacted me to inquire if I was satisfied. That is an excellent example of customer service. The guitar arrived in excellent condition. Every aspect of the guitar was decent. Excellent value for the money. Neck was straight. Frets were good. Action was surprisingly good. Definitely would recommend this guitar for a beginner.

Before I get into it, some quick details for modders! 10mm Tuners, and 2 1/16" Bridge spacing. The guitar looks good, the chunk of maple the neck was made from looks good. The fretboard was pretty decent; no sharp fretwire sticking out. Fretends could use slight rounding. Was able to do a setup with low action, intonating within +/-4 using GuitarTuna Chromatic Tuner. Low E would constantly fluctate in and around your tune. The strings are pretty bad, accidentally broke the D string adjusting a ...

Low E would constantly fluctate in and around your tune. The strings are pretty bad, accidentally broke the D string adjusting action today after changing the Nut and Tuners. New strings on the way. Original tuners are not half bad. Sealed and very functional. Original Nut will be getting cut into by the strings, will need to replace after little use. Bridge is hard to work with, the screws for action are far too long, once you've adjusted for lower action you will have about a quarter inch of sharp screws sticking out so palm muting is NOT comfortable. Guitar does not sound too bad or play too bad though, worth the price or more. I had high hopes for this guitar, however the guitar I received had a few issues, one might be a knish issue. 1. The screws do not seat straight into the neck. 2. There is a small gap between the body and the back of the neck, likely due to the mounting pilot holes not being drilled straight. 3. (possibly knish) There is about an 1/8" gap between the finger board and the body. 4. (easily fixable) There were a few scuffs and dings in the neck, but it comes quite chunky and sanding it down a few layers is well rewarding.

Nice solid guitar for the price. Would recommend. I did put different strings on though. The ones that came on it would fret out. New ones didn't. Plays great!

I like this guitar. Non playable as arrived but I expected to do a complete setup on it. Bad strings, cannot intonate low E, new strings coming. Will see if this fixed intonation error. I like the fully adjustable bridge. Minor mislocation of fret 14 by 0.012 inches but I think that won't affect playability.

I can't really write a review when I have not received my guitar. Due to the conditions of COVID-19, FedEx will NOT deliver my product. It's been taken hostage against its will at my local FedEx distribution center. Gave it 3 of 5 for now. Until I have had a chance to review it, then I'll change it.

I am extremely impressed with this instrument. This is my seventh guitar, and it is now my favorite. Everything about it is excellent. It was playable right out of the box with simple tuning. Thanks for a great guitar and a fantastic price!

The guitar looks and plays great. I was very worried when it arrived because of the minimal packaging and expected to find some damage. But somehow it survived just fine. I'm very happy with the guitar' s finish , quality of construction, and setup. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Arrived in 4 days and box had seen a rough ride but the guitar was looking good and in great shape. Finish was better than I have seen on guitars costing four times as much as you pay for the Glarry one. Only thing I will address immediately is lowering the strings. No idea how they can sell at this price point. Would be nice if they had steel guitars in the line up, Just ordered a Ukulele for my 6 year old grand daughter to play with.

There are two very small imperfections in the paint job that are barely noticeable. It plays great and looks really good! Any student would be jumping for joy to have one of these! I have been playing for almost thirty years now and have had so many guitars I forget how many!?! These are what to get if you want one you can do what you want with or are just starting out. I might add Dragonfire pickups later although the pickups actually sound great. I was worried about the tuning machines but they are good enough and hold tune as well as can be expected! It arrived VERY QUICKLY! It's not super light or too cheap feeling, just rapidly made with slightly less attention to menial details that make other guitars collectors items or very expensive. I have a Bass guitar and a case on the way and will likely buy more in the future. These are some of the lowest cost instruments with the highest quality I've seen at the price! Check out one of these and don't be afraid to do what you want with it!

I recommend this guitar to others. Its clean, sounds good, the amp the has static in it. Got another amp now sounds really good. It is a must for beginners and up. Smooth paint. The Bundle arrived with everything looking great. Be advised these guitars are " assembled ", there is no set up whatsoever, so you would need to add Set up to the cost, unless you can do this yourself. Cons: The Guitar neck was bowed quite badly, several Truss Rod adjustments over a few days helped, but I was never able to correct it. The "Action " needs adjustment,as does intonation. Amplifier had severe hum , checked connections all were good. Unplayable. Pros: ...

It's a surprisingly playable axe as is, and well worth the money. If you want to build a really nice guitar this is an excellent way to start. For about $700 you could have a $1500 guitar when you're done. That's what I'm doing. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners though. The neck is weirdly thick. It's playable, for sure, but I'd hate to learn to play with it.

It's a $65 delivered guitar, so it is cheap in every way for the components: light woods, light steel in the frets, budget metal in the hardware and tuners. BUT... if you can do basic setup and have regular tools of a setup, it is nearly set up. The plastic nut needs all 6 slots deepened a biti and the action is almo ...

It's a $65 delivered guitar, so it is cheap in every way for the components: light woods, light steel in the frets, budget metal in the hardware and tuners. BUT... if you can do basic setup and have regular tools of a setup, it is nearly set up. The plastic nut needs all 6 slots deepened a biti and the action is almost OK.... 1/16" for the E to D and the bass A and E are about 3/32" over the 12th fret. For most guys, good enough. No switch or pot noise. Jack nuts cannot be loosened easily, so just accept that the threaded trube-shaft sticks out a bit. For VERY cheap, it is pretty good and VERY light. Chunky neck needs to be smoothed with 320 grit paper lightly and I took of the GLARRY inked logo easily. I wiped the clean and humidified neck (damp sponge in the box with the removed neck alone) with a light coat of tung oil (TRUOIL). All fret ends needed just a touch of 3-corner fret end file and the frets are polished off with carborundum cloth. If you have good basic skipps, it's a pretty good guitar for cheap. If you want quality, get a USED Squier Standard or even Affinity and have it set up. Glarry is delivering cheap for cheap cost and FAST delivery to the door. As a Strat, it is 'good enough' to own and hone skills on. It is a budget guitar well done and the 4 center screws of the bridge are not drilled prefectly as a machine would do. My guess is that workers are doing the tasks fast to get them out and china is NOT a free country.Accept that.

I am completely 100% satisfied with this guitar I am very happy. The first one I was sent had a dent and that ship me out another one before I even knew it. This one is in perfect condition highly recommended these guitars to anybody for the price.
