I LOVE THIS BASS, out of the box it needed no adjustments and could be played easily. I took some lemon oil to the fret board and shielded the body. the bass plays like butter. the amp is okay as well, nice for me who needed a practice amp.

I just received the P Bass combo, and like so many others have stated, the bass is pretty legit. About the only thing I had to do was to do a quick setup and tuning and I was off and thumpin'. The included amp isn't bad either, considering it's a practice amp. So, if anyone's looking for a good, cheap bass rig to practice and write with, get one.

I have bought 2 guitars ( 1 strat and 1 bass) from Glarry. Let me say I am very happy with their guitar cases-really like the tweed one. Both the guitars however arrived needing at least moderate set up work. So be advised if you know how to work on guitars-then they are a good deal. I expected this at this price-so its fine. I'm new to the bass, so I'm maybe not the best person to review the Glarry GP Electric Bass, but I'll tell you what I know: *It's gorgeous. The finish is very, very nice. *It sounds great. I sort of expected less, honestly, from a bass at this price point. *It's not very well balanced. It's head-heavy, meaning you'll have to work at keeping it positioned--but honestly, that's such a small thing in light of how great it looks and sounds for the price.

Looks great, sounds better, nice and simple controls for a beginner. One out of two of the zippers on the gig bag fell off but tbh I was expecting that. There also wasn't any cosmetic issues except the frets aren't exactly shaved down evenly so I have cuts up and down my fretting fingers... Might wanna shave that down.. but if you don't mind the cuts that's fine, because it's hardly noticeable meanwhile or after getting them and never hurts. I also have a problem doing slapping technique... the strings slamming against the frets doesn't sound good at all. But maybe that's just my fault. The amp also sounds beautiful... it's just that it buzzes sometimes. Also the delivery was really quick. They said I would get it in 3-7 business days and I got it in 2... so don't bother wasting money on express shipping. Overall it's great and recommended.. when I'm old enough to get a job I'll save up for something better- But for now I think your first instruments should be from this site cuz the prices are hella affordable in case you won't stick with it.

All in all, a great buy. The bass is well made for the price, feels nice (some people don't seem to like the thicker neck, but I find it very comfortable), and the yellow looks vibrant and awesome. My only issue with the bass is that even with the bridge completely lowered the action is still fairly high, but I was able to make the grooves deeper with a needle file, so not a huge deal to me as I like to modify things anyway. I did not have an amp, as it was misplaced when I was moving, and even then I do not need anything fancy and expensive to mess around in my room, so I spent a little extra to get the amp package so I would at least have something. It's decent for the price and works quite well with the bass it came with, but definitely struggles when I plug in my modded goth thunderbird and I find I have to roll the bass knob almost all the way down or else it becomes a crackly mess of sound (my old amp did not have this issue, so I know the thunderbird is not broken). I also suspect the amp may not be grounded properly, as both of my basses sound like they have grounding issues on this amp but not any other amp I have since tried them on. I will have to open the amp up at some point and check for a loose wire. I'm not going to deduct a star for this simply because I knew it wouldn't be a top of the line amp and if the grounding issue is a loose wire, that could just as easily have happened in shipping. I am very happy with my purchase overall and feel it was well worth the price. If you are just starting, this is a great little kit to get you going and of you've been playing a while this would serve as a nice travel/practice bass or a platform to experiment with modding without too much financial impact.

What a beautiful piece of work. Had to make a few adjustments for it to play to my liking, but I must say it is a very enjoyable bass guitar to play and to behold. The amplifier is exactly what I needed to go with the bass. All at an unbelievable price. Thanks guys.

The bass guitar is very nice indeed! A little neck heavy, but on the plus side, it will never warp or bend. The strings are the perfect height from the fret board, making it easy to play. The enclosed amplifier didn't work, but Glarry immediately refunded a satisfactory amount of the purchase price. This is a great entry level bass guitar, and fits that need just fine. I highly recommend for the purpose of learning to play.

I believe that this would've been a fantastic guitar for the money. I was skeptical because I wasnt sure about the quality. My problem was that on arrival the head of my bass had a small crack and when I contacted the company I received no email to help. Also another problem I have is that I think the 19th fret I slightly taller or shorter than the rest so when I attempt to play at higher ranges I get a bad sounding buzz even though I've set this bass up several times trying to fix the problem
