This was received quickly and was very well packaged. Had to spend some time fixing fret ends and setting the action. Had no problem getting the intonation spot on up and down the neck. Tuners had to be replaced almost immediately and the pickups were passable. It's turned into a nice playing instrument that will probably have the electronics replaced if it continues to play well. The fit and finish is quite good and for the price, this is a pretty good deal.

Out of the box, needed work but it has been an extremely great guitar to learn how to work on guitars. Now, spend $60 dollars and buy your own Frankenstein. Enjoy.

This is a very attractive looking guitar and built well but doe need help. First impression pickup are very thin sounding so I will be replacing those and just because I will change the neck for a different profile more to my liking. But this guitar is playable and great for beginners to learn on worhospending a lot of money

First thing first it will arrive with action higher than most les Paul's! So you will need to lower it first thing…second intonation will be horrible expect to do that secondly! I got lucky and got nice frets but you may have to do a complete fret job! My strings were good but some say they had to change theirs first thing..now the pickup…the humbucker is actually pretty sweet and more than I expected..the bridge pickup well it's just there…it's decent to say the least…guitar is extremel ...

I got the blue one and for the price, it's a good value. Quality control at this price point is somewhat hit and miss, but from what I've read, Glarry is easy to work with if you do have a problem. Mine had a tone knob that was drilled crooked, so it would rub in one spot. I had one lying around that matched, so no big deal. I also decided to replace the plastic nut. A word of caution. I tried buying a standard 42mm pre-slotted nut, but the slot in the neck was cut too deep. I ended up having to ...

very pretty guitar, it had pretty high action out of the box. but after shimming the neck and leveling and polishing the frets and oiling the fretboard, it really started playing very well, a new set of strings made it play and sound very good.

The guitar is exactly what I expected it would be. Needs some fret work (sharp edges at the bottom of the neck where frets stick out) and the guitar was damaged in shipping (large paint chip in the bottom of the guitar at the tip of the horn) I'm sure glary would do something to compensate or fix the issue but honestly it's what I was looking for. I plan on rebuilding the guitar and I bought it for a pre painted/assembled body and neck to learn how to work on some of these issues on a cheap guit ...

Nice guitar. I had to dress the fret ends to smooth them, and adjust one saddle. Guitar plays good, and has a decent sound, considering the less expensive pickups. I am very happy with this machine !

I bought this for a modification platform as all the YouTube reviews indicated the neck and body were decent. Mine arrived in great shape, no issues there. It DID ned a string change, intonation set, and action lowered a touch, but I expected that.. do not recommend gifting this to someone unless you set it up first. Interesting point.. I have an axe that plays as good as any Fender Player model for a LOT less, and I learned how to save cash on repairs and setups!

Very pleasantly surprised by this guitar. I only needed to set the intonation and shim up the humbucker (it floated top and bottom). I sanded down the back of the neck to knock down the drag from the gloss finish and it plays as smooth as my Fenders.

I purchased this guitar back on Sept. 2020. I had my tech guy set it up for me and it played good. although the high E string kept coming out of the saddle and hanging over the fretboard. Very frustrating. So I decided to Mod it. I bought new roller saddles and roller T guides and a new nut and tuning keys. And started to do it myself before quickly realizing that it was beyond my skill set so I had my guitar tech guy do it for me and I also sanded off the head stock and stained it to kind of ma ...

First I want to say that the finish on the Burlywood just fantastic. However when I received the guitar I found that the neck was off center to the right and the high E string at the 15th fret was almost off the neck. I contacted Glarry and they did respond to a possible fix. That did not work. They then suggested I take it to a Luthier and they would pay up to the cost of the guitar. I found a video that shows how to straighten the neck easily and it worked. While I was tuning the strings I als ...

The tuners could be a little better but holds tune pretty good!!! My only complaint was the setup from the factory…but other then that once I set it up I have a dang good player! Glarry you won my business when it comes to cheap guitars! I will say that you will want to oil the fretboard when you get it…transport will have it dry upon arrival which is usual! Some lemon oil or string ease will make it slick and play nice!

The ONLY reason this didn't get 5/5 stars is because it had a TINY imperfection in the paint, an almost literal fingernail shaving missed spot that was finished over with the clear coating. There were some spots on the back of the neck that looked unfinished, and it needed some good tweaks to get the action and intonation right, but that was only disappointing because the Glarry Telecaster that I bought was so perfect right out of the box. Played the mess out of it today though! It's so beaut ...

Good guitar. Sounds good. Totally in love with the color once I saw it in person. The pickup combination is great for different sounds. Now what is preventing me from a total 5 stars? Minor finish scuffs here and there but not a total deal breaker by any means. Much better than expected at this price point. It needed a setup, but what new guitar doesn't? One of the tuners was a bit stiff, but seems to be loosening up with use. Nice finish and wide range of tonality with this pickup arrangement. It had a small ding in the neck, but nothing serious.

The case is excellent for the price. My new tele-style guitar fits snugly, and the interior plush surface is very nice. The guitar is beautiful and plays well. The only problems were the neck pickup and input jack are loose and wobbly. Good value for my purposes.

The neck was trashed as it had gouges in several different places, the nut looked like it was made with a kitchen knife, and probably half of the frets were sticking up and unable to be seated even though I tried to do so. The neck was trashed as it had gouges in several different places, the nut looked like it was made with a kitchen knife, and probably half of the frets were sticking up and unable to be seated even though I tried to do so. The body was cracked in two different places at the neck pocket. And, the bridge was crooked. I built a guitar myself a few months ago and drilled straighter holes with my hand drill. The second guitar that I was sent is a really nice instrument and sounds very different from the feedback screaming pickups that were on the first one. It makes me wonder if you guys are putting these things together in a basement somewhere. I would really love to have one of your "Strat" models, but I have no desire to get another guitar in the shape of the first one that I got from you. So, I will pass on that. As far as the basswood bodies go, they are very light. The wood is so light that if you remove screws, you better be VERY careful about tightening them back up. Basswood is very easy to strip. Even on the second "Thinline" I was sent, a few of the screws were already turning freely right out of the box. These guitars are great for someone who wants to mess around with upgrading them and such, but I would not buy them for my granddaughters. But as I said: I love the second one that you sent me. I play it more than my 45 year old Telecaster these days.

The bridge is mounted crooked with the base side of the plate being higher than the treble side. Additionally the bridge pickup mounting had it so high it was physically touching the strings when I tried to lower the action. I spent about 4 hours on the neck. Mine had 3 high frets out of the box which I spot-leveled and recrowned and then I polished the rest of the frets to take out any tool marks they had some with. The nut had to be filed and cleaned up as the slots either needed to be adjusted or were just lazily cut in the first place. The strings that came on it were also especially bad, they left residue on my hands after just touching them. With all that said, if you know how to do the work to make it playable, it's a steal for the price. But if you're looking to buy your first guitar these probably aren't where you wanna end up unless you wanna pay a luthier an extra $60ish dollars just to set it up. Not even accounting for fret-work and nut filing. At that point it might be worth it to go for something like a squire tele that has a much better setup out of the box.

I was pleased with this guitar, unlike the acoustic i ordered a month or so ago, it needed a few minor adjustments and a change in strings. the biggest issue i see is in the bridge. the strings feed thru right under the springs and actually touch them. It hasn't caused any breaks yet, time will tell. the bridge pickup has a hum, im thinking it might be a bad ground, the neck pickup sounds ok, but overpowers the bridge, and when in the middle position it sounds muddy . the frets need dressing a ...

Now it is close to Christmas and with Covid19 concerns it takes longer but this was frustrating. It took 4 days to leave Glarry location. Then FedEx kept saying out for delivery, everyday for 4 days in a row. I really thought it was lost. When it came it was slightly damaged. Thankfully it tightened up ok but does not look the best. The guitar it self is really nice for this money. Neck seems to be straight, no rough frets. It was playable out of the box with just a tuning but I did a set up as the base strings intonation was off. The Neck pickup is strong and mellow sounding. The Bridge pickup is a little weaker and real tiny sounding. I lowered it down to try to offset a little and now together it sounds pretty good. For a lot of songs I like the neck pickup alone. Fit and finish were pretty good though not perfect. The f hole edges were rough and not painted or finished. I sanded a little and mixed some paint and touched up. The neck finish was a little rough but some 400 grit sandpaper took care of that quickly along with some furniture polish. Overall I would recommend for this kind of money to get a decent guitar with accessories is amazing. But do not expect it to be perfect. And Glarry, you need to up your packaging!

Instrument arrived with issues but Glarry customer service has been excellent. The price is fantastic. Very good, solid guitar for a beginner (once strings are replaced and guitar set-up). Pickups sound just like they should (shielding will quiet down that bridge pickup). Also a great base guitar for learning modifications. Very pleased overall.

Been playing for over 50 years...yikes. Thought I would give this one a try and was really surprised. Beautiful yellow finish is flawless, and the sound is great. There is kind of a disconnect between the neck and the body though IMHO. But after tweaking around with the truss rod, bridge, etc. I got it playable!
