CAME WITH THE USUAL BUSTED UP GLARRY BOX.....HOWEVER THIS TIME IT HAD SOME STRYFOAM BLOCKS IN THE BOX TO HELP WITH PROTECTION.....NOT ONE SCRATCH OR DING, THE COLOR AND CONDITION ARE GREAT....JUST TUNED IT AND IT PLAYS GREAT RITE OUT OF THE BOX.....B

The ONLY reason this didn't get 5/5 stars is because it had a TINY imperfection in the paint, an almost literal fingernail shaving missed spot that was finished over with the clear coating. There were some spots on the back of the neck that looked unfinished, and it needed some good tweaks to get the action and intonation right, but that was only disappointing because the Glarry Telecaster that I bought was so perfect right out of the box. Played the mess out of it today though! It's so beaut ...

The only things that are not going to work are the nut and the tuners. But I could live with both if I had to. The tone is Sweet. Played well straight out of the box. After a new nuit and tuners, this will be my go-to guitar. Thanks, Glarry. I'll be buying a GST soon.

Good guitar for the money. It is not ready to play straight out of the box, mine required lowering the string height and adjusting the truss rod a bit. The intonation was only a little off, only required minor adjustment. The allen wrenches included with the guitar are all you need to make it playable. If you have never set up a guitar, just go on youtube and search for a quick guitar setup tutorial video. It took me about 20 minutes to make the guitar easy to play. The instrument sounds pretty ...

This was the first Glarry instrument I've bought with a flaw in it, and I'm glad to say Glarry is sending me a replacement, and they asked me to donate this one to someone in need. So, I'm changing the nut, dressing the frets, and doing a full setup before mailing it out to the Children's Music Fund. They're a non-profit group that offers music therapy, education, and instruments to sick kids. A big thank you to Glarry for making this happen! I'll be shopping with you guys and hopefully setting ...

my first electric guitar.....very well satisfied....it really is a good guitar.....i changed strings, aligned the neck, oiled the fretboard.....holds tune great(i use wall hangers)....i need some help, i need to change the pickguard but can't find them anywhere.....its different than the glarry GTL (i have the semi-hollow F hole w/humbucker).....where can i buy one that fits?....also i bought the glarry case in black and it's a great case for the money....thanks, chuck

Good guitar. Sounds good. Totally in love with the color once I saw it in person. The pickup combination is great for different sounds. Now what is preventing me from a total 5 stars? Minor finish scuffs here and there but not a total deal breaker by any means. And the total downfall is the neck, I don't know what I was expecting maybe a thin neck but it's my first telecaster style guitar so maybe my expectation are not plausible. The neck feels like a bat, takes some time to get used to b ...

I had read and heard a lot about Glarry guitars so decided - when a semi-hollow became available - to take a chance on one as they are so cheap price-wise, I felt I had nothing to lose. All I can say is - wow, what a beautiful guitar. When I began playing I would have dreamed of having an instrument of such quality but all that was available was awful. The neck humbucker is warm and sweet. Middle position is really nice and balanced. The bridge pickup is okay but - for me at least - I will be swapping that out for a slightly higher output pickup, but that is not a complaint at all. If you are a beginner or intermediate player you will be delighted with this guitar straight out of the box. For an experienced old dog like myself, it is a great guitar for me to setup and make a few small changes so that once again I have a Thinline Telecaster style guitar in my collection for recording and live work. I can also only speak in the highest regard about the level of customer service I received from the Glarry team and I will definitely be buying another guitar from them very soon to encourage my grandchildren to become players. 5 stars all the way.

Got this Father's Day!! • Set up right out the box. • Sounds great unplugged. • Neck smooth as silk. • Humbucker sounds soft n warm as butter. My friends with Fenders say it's as good as a regular Tele!! VERY PLEASED, and surprised how well this instrument plays.

I had to check it out when I saw the ad for a slimline Tele. I got it last week & put it to the test at a gig. I ended up playing it all night - sounded great, played great. I have been playing since I was 9 years old, always wanted a slimline and this one does the job. Well worth it - Thanks Glarry for a cool guitar!!

Hello Glarry - the guitar arrived a few days early - thank you for the prompt service. It is in wonderful condition, I love the red wine color. It plays well, as-received, and did not require anything but tuning. This is my second Glarry guitar, both are the GTL Semi-Hollow F Hole with HS pickups. I plan to re-fit one of them with P90 pickups soon. Next I want to buy a GJazz II Electric Bass with the upgraded pickups and strings.

Much better than expected at this price point. It needed a setup, but what new guitar doesn't? One of the tuners was a bit stiff, but seems to be loosening up with use. Nice finish and wide range of tonality with this pickup arrangement. It had a small ding in the neck, but nothing serious.

The case is excellent for the price. My new tele-style guitar fits snugly, and the interior plush surface is very nice. The guitar is beautiful and plays well. The only problems were the neck pickup and input jack are loose and wobbly. Good value for my purposes.

The neck was trashed as it had gouges in several different places, the nut looked like it was made with a kitchen knife, and probably half of the frets were sticking up and unable to be seated even though I tried to do so. The body was cracked in two different places at the neck pocket. And, the bridge was crooked. I built a guitar myself a ...

First of all: I love the second one I was sent. I got two of these. The first one was so messed up that it was taken apart and tossed into my parts box. The neck was trashed as it had gouges in several different places, the nut looked like it was made with a kitchen knife, and probably half of the frets were sticking up and unable to be seated even though I tried to do so. The body was cracked in two different places at the neck pocket. And, the bridge was crooked. I built a guitar myself a few months ago and drilled straighter holes with my hand drill. The second guitar that I was sent is a really nice instrument and sounds very different from the feedback screaming pickups that were on the first one. It makes me wonder if you guys are putting these things together in a basement somewhere. I would really love to have one of your "Strat" models, but I have no desire to get another guitar in the shape of the first one that I got from you. So, I will pass on that. As far as the basswood bodies go, they are very light. The wood is so light that if you remove screws, you better be VERY careful about tightening them back up. Basswood is very easy to strip. Even on the second "Thinline" I was sent, a few of the screws were already turning freely right out of the box. These guitars are great for someone who wants to mess around with upgrading them and such, but I would not buy them for my granddaughters. But as I said: I love the second one that you sent me. I play it more than my 45 year old Telecaster these days.

I have to re-tune the higher strings somewhat frequently, and out of the box, the high-E tended to buzz a little bit if one of the saddles wiggled itself into a funny position. However, Glarry is very forthright about their guitars being aimed at modders. A new bridge would solve both problems. An authentic Fender Tele bridge is only $50, and a top-of-the-line 6-way saddle is less than $60. If I did decided to replace the bridge, I would still have spent unde ...

I opted to send Glarry a video of the buzzing sound, and they offered to pay a local guitar tech to repair it for me! Although, I was actually able to fix it myself, just by watching a video they send me. Saved me the trouble of the trip! Great customer service. The guitar is 100% gorgeous, and it sounds fantastic on a recording. Unplugged, the thing is practically as loud as an acoustic guitar. Put a high-feedback delay pedal on this thing, and you're ready to play some Pink Floyd.

Ordered this guitar Saturday, it arrived Tuesday. Unboxed it and played for an hour. I will polish the frets, and change tuners, but, not super necessary, it came playable, intonation is close too. Ima go wear the stings out before I do anything though. I'm elated, thank you folks, made my day!

I also refinished the neck...1500 sandpaper, then a coat of Boiled Linseed Oil. Finally, 2000 sandpaper after a few days of drying. These are the things missing from the factory, in order to meet the crazy low price-point. Along with low end hardware and electronics. But again, the super low price. The body is great, the ...
