The bridge gap is a little bit too wide and the saddle cannot stay in an upright position and the frets need some work, but these issues are easily fixable. Other than that the guitar plays beautifully both acoustically and via a DI box.

This guitar has some intonation problems, so I'll probably try adjusting things. But the tone is good - surprisingly full sound. Some of the accessories are pretty flimsy (the bag and strap). But for $79, I'm happy. There's no fret buzz, the electronics work. I've logged some hours playing it. It even looks decent - not spectacular, but attractive enough. Just plan on maybe doing some setup work or playing a lot of open position chords.

I own cheap, middling, and more expensive guitars now. I didn't know what to expect when ordering this. I partially expected the worst. Being inexpensive here doesn't mean cheap - it sounds and plays well for the price. I wish I had something like this as a young man just starting out - having something that plays and sounds as well as this can encourage a beginner to keep going.

After a quick tune, I put the guitar through the paces. Fret edges were smooth no rough ones, and the action right out of the box was perfect. The strings that come with it are very basic and quite cheap, but again for the price you just can't complain. Strings will be an easy future upgrade, and as good as it sounds with generic strings, I can only imagine the sound quality with a good set of strings. The capo and tuner were great bonus items, that again at the price point you just don't expect. Even with the less that perfect finish, I would absolutely purchase another one of these and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great playing guitar!

So let's be straight, you get a lot for the money. However, you need to go in knowing what you are buying. So let's be straight, you get a lot for the money. However, you need to go in knowing what you are buying. If you think you are cheating somehow and getting a mid-range to good guitar, no blemishes and no adjusting, just pick it up and play, you are going to be the person who comes here and leaves a horrible review. Don't do that. Put in the work, just like you would do for a used guitar. Oil the fret board, put some decent strings on it, get your relief set right before you start complaining about fret buzz. Even then, there still might be concerns, this is an inexpensive guitar. I had 1 or 2 frets that had some buzz, even with adjusting the truss rod. Do what everyone else does for that. Take it to a shop and get a tune up. You just paid one tenth of what a mid-range guitar cost. Spend a little more to get it set up correctly. Or get crazy and spend like $15 on Amazon and get a fret file and a rocker. Watch some videos, go slow so you don't do real damage, and learn about how to adjust your instrument. However it works out, you will have something that has good tone and you can play this for years while you save up for that kick butt guitar. Especially if this is your first one. Glarry, if you are reading these comments, have your QA clean up the work on your frets and intonation and people will be even more pleased than they are now. The action can be changed easy enough. People are pretty forgiving, but if it sounds wrong, it will drive people nuts. Honestly, if this guitar is any indication of the rest of their products, Glarry is going to get some more of my money as I try out more instruments.

Delivery was excellent. I had to do some fret work and setup for string buzz. The guitar looks great and has a sweet sound. It is great to play. I would highly recommend it.

TL;DR: Sounds good; reasonably easy to play; mediocre workmanship; good deal at the price. Not having played for a decade or so, I needed a good practice guitar. This fits the bill. The good news is that it was playable out of the box. The tone is very good and got better after re-stringing with Martin Marquis thin-gauge strings (for the record, I have only used it as a straight acoustic, not plugged in to an amp).The action is a bit high; when I get up to speed and return to my 1966 vintage Epi ...

On the downside, the workmanship and quality is mediocre at best:gaps where the end of the fretboard meets the body; a couple of small gauges in the slot for the bridge (looks like a chisel slipped; a visible gap at one corner of the electric box; rough finish on the body. Basically looks like something home-made. All that said, it's still a screaming bargain at the price, and I have no regrets about buying it.
