I had more to note good right out of the box. I had to clean the Fretboard, polish the frets just a little. I adjusted just the height of the saddles a tad. I put new strings on it and also put roller string guides. No fret buzz, neck and action is fantastic. I'm happy already. I did plan on putting a white pearloid pickguard along with black pickups and same knobs, etc. I may find some black aftermarket humbuckers for the neck and bridge. Plus, I ordered a black hotrail for the middle. It arriv ...

The finish on the body is nice and the pickups were good enough at this price point. A good project guitar for an experienced player. A new player may want to have a Luthier make any extra adjustments if simply lowering or raising the saddles in the bridge, slightly adjusting the truss rod (to add a slight bow or to straighten neck more) and tuning the strings doesn't do the trick. But do not change the strings if you will need a Luthier to make some adjustments - allow the Luthier to change the ...

I won this guitar at a Foreigner Unauthorized music gig by making the highest bid. One of the band members said, "You've got a good guitar there." I decided to make up my own mind about that. I have owned 5 guitars (4 electric and one electric acoustic) I started playing my Glarry right away. I had no idea about it's quality until then. This is by far the one I play the most. Gst hsh After leveling the frets and lowering the nut slots, and a complete setup, the guitar plays easy now. The paint finish and crome is beautiful. Stays in tune. Red pearl pick gaurd. The neck is birch wood with rosewood fret board, c shape not tapered. Light weight and balanced.No complaints, sounds good. I ordered another one the hh tiger strips blue.

Unbelievable value for this guitar! I've been seeking an HSH guitar to add to my collection and couldn't pass up the price for this Glarry GST. Shipping was prompt and the guitar looks as good in person as it does online. It did require some setup time to adjust the truss rod and bridge, which is to be expected. With the setup complete, it plays fantastic and it's super light, so easy on the back if you're rehearsing or gigging with it. The HSH configuration gives you a ton of tonal options and the pickups sound surprisingly good for the price range, although I like how the guitar plays so much, I may end up swapping them out with boutique pickups. Overall, it's a great guitar for someone like me who wants to tinker or modify a guitar. If you're a beginner, just take it into your guitar shop for a quick setup and it'll be a perfect first guitar. I'll likely to continue to tinker with the guitar--next up will be to rewire the humbuckers w/ push-push tone knobs to get coil-splitting capabilities, and then maybe upgrade the pickups.

Just got my Glarry HSH Strat today and am very happy with it. I had to set up the action like I like but once I did it sounds as sweet as a bird. I have a lot of guitars from Gibson SG to Fender Strat/Tele/and Acoustic to Epiphone, Squier and Ibanez. This Glarry can hang with them all. And I like the fact that it's so light. Worked right out of the box; after a tune. Been using it everyday. As a beginner it has served me well.
