I had to raise the bridge, clean and condition the fretboard and put on new strings After that,I am very pleased with how it plays and sounds Tuning stability is spot on too!

The guitar must have been stored for a long time in a bad place. Some hardware was rusty. The frets were old and corroded. After I assessed if I can repair the damage I then began treating the very dry Fretboard and the polishing the frets. Put the inner washer of the switch on the outside and cleaned other rusty parts. Upgraded the Pickups and put on new strings. *I got a surprise T-shirt in the mail.

Update: Open Coil Bridge pickup now has more treble bite and sounds very hot and aggressive. Neck pickup, also open-coil, retains definition and clarity, plus it has a distinctive "PAF" vintage voice to it. **Both pickups sound very well together. Hey Senor Glarry, the guitar got here after about a week and the color was Right on. The set up was, well, not. I thought that it would take awhile. surprise!! every thing just flowed together after a quick release of neck tension. a couple of turns of the height screws. my first double humbucker guitar. I just wish you guys had a local store, so I could buy the short bass with cash. so I play Goldie every day. thank you very much.

I bought the GIZ102 Gold and was shocked at how good the build was for a guitar at this price point. All the frets are level, the action is excellent ,the intonation is spot on, and the paint job is awesome. I do plan however to replace the pickups on it, along with a lighter set of string, and get a better gig bag for it. About the only bad thing about this guitar is the frets are a bit cruddy on it and will have to be polished. Other than that I am very happy with this model. I would say this ...

My GIZ102 arrived within three days!! I love this guitar; the color is gorgeous (blue). Craftmanship is outstanding. I have two other Glarry guitars: GTL transparent yellow electric, GST3 sunset finish electric. Enjoy playing both of them, but the GIZ102 is one of Glarry's best guitars at an affordable price. I have been playing it for several weeks now and haven't had to do any adjustments or setup except for tuning. The sound and tone are amazing. I am not a professional guitarist, but I enjoy ...

Best $180 guitar! I like to but cheaper (less than $300) guitars and upgrade them. This guitar out of the box was great. It plays very nice. It looks awesome as well, speckled gold is cool to look at. I did swamp out the tuners as it was not holding tune.

Badazz! I love Love LOVE it! Had mine for about a week and man, it just rocks! Tight, solid body, light on the shoulders & plays like butter; tone & volume electronics surpassed my expectations; with a good overdriven stack you've got yourself that classic hard blues/rock most SG diehards paid $7K for. Needs attention to intonation but that may be because I tune down to C# (early Sabbath style)

UPS really screwed up but Lynn took care of it. Guitar came out of the box with tons of rusted parts and a broken neck pickup/switch after UPS left it laying in the rain even though we have a full covering for packages. Just want to thank Lynn for being helpful on this matter. Can't really give a review of the instrument but to me it feels just like my AX120 and my old Firefly Double Cut. For the money it's hard to beat this set-neck guitar.

You got this one right! I'm really liking the GIZ102 guitar. The beautiful gold finish is awesome. The guitar feels right on the strap and hangs nicely balanced for playing. The fretboard is a little thick but not unplayable. My guitar was set up nicely from the box after tuning and stretching the strings. This is a well made double cut set neck guitar that rivals the industry standards! The pickups are microphonic and need replaced as most of these affordable guitars from China do. Overall i li ...

It came with the action a little higher but you can adjust this and that is a good thing the guitar chord is a little on the lower shelf side but it does work and that's alright

For the price its a solid beginner's guitar. It is compatible with rocksmith but the sound is quiet and tinny. Change the strings out, get a new instrument cable, and if you're feeling froggy change out the pickups.

I think it's a great guitar! I am a beginner and it is a way to learn without over paying for a new guitar.

I am a pro player, and have been looking for a "Junior" styled instrument for awhile. I am in the process of substituting my "good guitars" for alternate ones. I have been surprised at the quality of the instruments in this price range. When I saw the ad for the Glarry "Junior", the specs hit all the buttons...Great value, good instrument. Dual humbucker PUs, quad controls, poplar body (light!) and maple neck. (Am tired of easy to break mahogany ones). Added to the mix is the pearl fret markers, ...
