I gifted this keyboard to my 7-year-old grandson on his birthday and started teaching him how to play since I have experience as a music teacher. We've only had one lesson so far, but he's making good progress. However, I must mention that I was disappointed with the flimsy music stand. It doesn't hold his music book securely, which can be frustrating during practice sessions.

This keyboard is perfect for beginners, although the sound quality isn't as good as more expensive models (which is to be expected at this price point). However, it's still good enough to learn on and is a great option if you're unsure about committing to learning piano. If you want to practice quietly with the app, I'd recommend spending a bit more money on the version with a MIDI port.

This keyboard is perfect for adult instruction! I appreciate that it comes with headphones, which makes it easy to practice without bothering anyone else. However, the stand and stool are not very sturdy and the keyboard itself is rather lightweight. Despite these minor issues, it works well for me and I would recommend it to others.

This keyboard is sturdy and perfect for our 8-year-old to practice on, while also allowing my husband and I to dust off our own piano skills. However, the volume doesn't really adjust so even on the lowest setting it's quite loud for us. This can be frustrating since we want to practice at home without disturbing the neighbors. As a Christmas gift, I got this keyboard for my daughter who wanted to dive into learning piano. The setup process was simple and hassle-free, much to my delight. While I have some reservations about its durability, it's definitely suitable for beginners to get acquainted with the keys. The inclusion of headphones is a thoughtful touch, enabling her to practice without causing any disruptions. She's absolutely smitten with it!

I was surprised at how light the keyboard is compared to older ones I had handled before. The speakers themselves are pretty loud when on full volume which surprisingly is set at that level on default when turning the keyboard on! The keys have a solid feel and a nice spring to them. There is a good variety of tunes, rythems and demo songs so there will be something I (and others) will be able to learn and play with relative ease plus music that suits all ages. Down side: some of the different instruments sound rather tinny and not quite right although this is a minor niggle for a beginners keyboard. In all, you get a lot for the price and kids will love this. A cheap way to see if learning a keyboard instrument is managable by you.
