Glarry GST Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar Black Red Sunset

This makes Glarry #5 for me. I think they are very good for the price. They sometimes have minor imperfections and need a good set-up but you end up with a playable , decent looking guitar. Some people spend more, (sometimes MUCH more) for one guitar , than I have invested in all 5 of these. Only way a poor guy like me could have this many guitars to play with.

I absolutely loved it! The action was already perfect straight out of the box!!! Once I tuned and stretched the strings a little, I barely put it down until I had to go to bed. Thanks for making such a good and affordable product Glarry! I already added a hanger on the wall for it with my others!

The one I received was first rate. The plastic nut is not the greatest but the neck was very comfortable and well finished. The frets were just perfect - not fancy but definitely not sharp. The set up was actually pretty much spot on. The string height was great and the intonation was really good for a barrel bridge. Sounds very much like a telecaster. My second GTL purchase. I bought it with sole purpose of making it into an instrument that didn't exist here. Using parts from a less-than-perfect 36-inch kids bass, I crafted a GTL bass. Surprisingly easy with a few mods. Should get a few fun double takes at the next jam session.

Great for beginners and a dream for gearheads like me. I bought this for a project guitar. Sure I had to smooth the fret edges and file 2 frets a little to get rid of buzzing on the high E, no biggie. Swapped out the pickups, tuners and added shielding about $400. I bought the GIZ102 Gold and was shocked at how good the build was for a guitar at this price point. All the frets are level, the action is excellent ,the intonation is spot on, and the paint job is awesome. I do plan however to replace the pickups on it, along with a lighter set of string, and get a better gig bag for it. I bought two Glarry GTLs one on Amazon and one from Glarry. Both instruments came with their own unique issues. The first one I bought had a really off neck pocket that I had to sand and shim. The frets also required to be leveled. And on top of that the truss rod hole was not aligned with the actual truss rod. Bought it for a guitar to learn how to change pickups, do my own set ups etc. It is perfect for that lol. Very nice finish for a budget guitar, I am very happy with that. Everything is good except for one fret that is a bit high, which let's me learn to file down my frets and polish them up. I would NOT get this for someone who is new to guitar. My low expectations were set too high for this purchase. The craftsmanship is terrible; I have scratches under the finish on the back of the body, deep gouges on the fretboard, blown out drill holes for the fret marker inlay, rough tarnished fret wires made from the softest cheap metal available. There is a terrible buss at the 9th fret on the A and D string, and looking down the neck there is good relief on the low E side while practically dead flat on the high E side, so I'm assuming the neck ...

Good customer service compensates for overall quality. I'm very satisfied with what I've paid for now. The neck has adjusted well, but fret wires weren't seated. The holes in the saddle that hold the strings we're too small and make it easy for the string to break. A days work and new strings and a better nut have done a lot, but I'll need the frets to be filed to remove the buzzing. Great price for a project guitar.

Three-way switch knob was broken off. Had to make a major truss rod adjustment. Had to shim the neck to get rid of fret buzz. Had to file frightens down due to being too sharp. I understand that it is a budget guitar and I expect to do some of these things. I have ordered two other guitars from Glerry that were nothing like this one. The other two I was able to tune and play right out of the box.

Great guitar! Great Sound! Great value! Beautiful natural Burlywood. Fit and finish are superb, with no flaws to be seen. Plays well right out of the box, but after a basic set up, including setting the action, check intonation, condition the fretboard, polish the frets, and a fresh set of strings, and this becomes a real players guitar. The item I ordered was the upgrade with Wilkinson pickups and bone nut. The item I received doesn't have these. I have notified Glarry and waiting for a reply. It is a very nice guitar but not the upgrade I ordered. 5 stars instead of 3 for the correct product.

I wish I could edit the stars because after writing this review and emailing Glarry the general manager Lynn contacted me. She made the whole situation right, sent the guitar and we can't be any happier with the way things were fixed. The guitar arrived, it's beautiful and we will definitely purchase from Glarry in the future and will definitely recommend them. I will be writing a new review because they don't deserve one star. Badazz! I love Love LOVE it! Had mine for about a week and man, it just rocks! Tight, solid body, light on the shoulders & plays like butter; tone & volume electronics surpassed my expectations; with a good overdriven stack you've got yourself that classic hard blues/rock most SG diehards paid $7K for. Needs attention to intonation but that may be because I tune down to C# (early Sabbath style)

Fantastic guitars, most will say "for the price". These are priced too low in my opinion (Glarry don't read that lol) and you are getting much more for your dollar over other brands out there. I have several and will buy more. The biggest issue you would have is quality control....if you stay on top of it as you have in the examples I own, then all will be OK.

I'm giving this 5 stars not because it's a 5 star guitar, because it's not. But for $130 it's amazing what you get that's why it's getting a 5 star review from me.
