I spent hours possibly the whole day looking at reviews and I jumped in thinking there were going to be minor defects but at the same time really excited about getting both a bass and electric guitar for less than $170. I really wanted an acoustic guitar from glarry guitars as well but i had ordered a yamaha f335 instead. The bass guitar is very nice indeed! A little neck heavy, but on the plus side, it will never warp or bend. The strings are the perfect height from the fret board, making it easy to play. The enclosed amplifier didn't work, but Glarry immediately refunded a satisfactory amount of the purchase price. This is a great entry level bass guitar, and fits that need just fine. I highly recommend for the purpose of learning to play.

I bought the Jazz Bass in White. Body has scratches by the bridge where the strings load in. Fit and finish are good, neck joint is tight and clean. Neck is not a Jazz Bass profile, it's kind of in between the Jazz and Precision feel, slightly chunky, but very playable. Hardware does what it is supposed to, tuning keys are ok, probably the weak point of the whole bass. Electronics all function as they should, no grounding hum or buzz. Pick ups sound like Jazz Bass pickups should. I would like to ...

I am a beginner. I thought I would finally learn an instrument. The price was right so decided to leap. The bass is great looking and felt nice. The sound as far as my new ears can tell is great. A friend of mine saw the bass decided to get a 5 string for his studio.

This is a great bass. I did a little adjusting but it came set-up already. The action was on point right out of the box. I like how the neck feels and the Burlywood looks like it would cost 3 times as much. The is way more bass than what is cost. Thank you for hooking up folks on a budget with nice instruments.

Bought the GIb Electric bass from Glarry, it arrived in 4 days in perfect condition. I previously owned the Glarry Jazz bass and really liked it. However the Gib bass is totally awesome . I don't just like it, I love it. The tones and sounds are amazing. the only thing I had to do is adjust the bridge to get rid of some string tension and bam its an explosive bass guitar!! Thanks Glarry.. Love it!!!

Exactly what I was expecting between reviews and personal expectations. Some sharp fret edges, some buzzing around the fretboard. The nut will definitely need to be replaced. As far as being playable right out of the box they nailed it Stays in tune, sounds great and its a joy to pick up.

Wow , shipping was quick. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised ! The instrument was pretty flawless. I had to do a bit of set up. Action was a too high and two strings needed the intonation adjusted. After that It was a darn decent bass. Pick ups don't have a switch but that's no big deal. Dial in what you like and go. Definitely a bargain .

Very impressed with this bass. Straight out of the box it looks superb. Not heavy and balances nicely on the strap. The finish is flawless and it's well put together. I lowered the action a tad and it was ready to go. Volume and tone controls actually work and make a difference to the overall sound. I know they should, but some bass guitars at this price point dont, so it's great that these do. I would be quite happy to gig with this bass. When I contacted support to inform them of the minor damage the new bass had when it arrived, their reply was: "you can paint it"! Unbelievable statement... A new product that was damaged when it arrived, and they said I can "paint it". No apology, or an offer to resolve the issue, nothing. Pretty good inexpensive bass (for the price), but customer support is horrible. Please take this into consideration ...

Ordered this to try to learn with my daughter. Shipping was quick and arrived in a timely manner even with the national lockdown. The shipping box had a tear in the side but it didn't affect the contents. Everything was in great shape. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend Glarry for anyone who is just starting out.

Shipping came fast only 6days...Overall Great Bass the tone was killing especially for the price but it is a lot of hum from the volume knobs and hopefully in the future we can see maybe different neck options.
