I was dissapointed only that I did NOT recieve an Allen wrench to adjust the neck. Otherwise, for the price.........it was an Adequate+ guitar. Great for Beginner I purchased it for. Thanks

My story is a little complicated, so please bear with me. I originally ordered and received the Sunset colored Strat model with black pickguard and maple fingerboard. I'm just a beginner but I really like the way this one looks and how it comes with all the basic equipment to learn with. Compared to other guitars the price is great, and it ships fast and very well packaged. Not five star worthy though because one of the strings came MUCH looser than the rest so now I have to figure out how to fix it before I can play.

While I'm new to bass, I'm familiar with guitars and aspects of their quality. I will say, that I was skeptical of some of the reviews. However, after receiving the bass, I'm pleasantly surprised! The fret work is smooth with no sharp edges and the finish is great. The hardware has no play in it and everything is a shiny chrome. The only reason I bought this, is because I always wanted to try playing a violin/fiddle. As to quality, or playability, I can't comment, yet. Everything is in place, It has a nice, symmetrical appearance, and it looks like all of the other violins I've seen. There were a couple of additional accessories included (strings, tuner, etc.). And, if I had a clue what I was doing, I'm sure it would make some sort of noise. That is Step 2 on my list.

Arrived quickly however on of the pickups wasn't correctly seated and needed to be adjusted quite a bit. For a beginner bass, it's well made and I have been impressed with how well it holds tune. Slight buzzing around the 12th fret but should be able to file down the frets without much issue. I bought the bass for my 11 year old daughter, so the fact that it is very lightweight is a plus. For a bass guitar under $100, I think it's well worth the money.

Overall I was satisfied with this purchase. Everything worked well, and for the price my expectations were exceeded. The only problem I experienced was one of the pickups had fallen into the body of the bass. After further investigation I discovered that the glue holding the pickup to the outer casing had failed. Not bad at all! I love the feel of the neck! Great job Glarry! I setup the neck and got the intonation set. Plugged into the headrush pedal board amp simulator and this guitar rocks for the money! It definitely has a Stratocaster style sound. Once i dialed in the same type rig Jimmy Hendrix used, The glarry guitar had no problems with getting that old strat tone. The packaging could be better, the box showed that it had a rough trip. The Guitar had damage on the head stock, looking like it was dropped on that side. Double boxing would probably take care of that. The finish and playability were good upon arrival needing only the action lowered a bit, and the pickup height adjusted. The guitar was delivered in a timely fashion. It appears to be on pristine shape. I do not like the strings, they are super sharp. I am having the guitar setup bu a professional guitar tech. My GST arrived all in good order. I was missing the gig bag but did not need it anyway. Loved the finish, light weight and neck on this guitar. I agree with all the good reviews on Youtube (disagree with the couple of bad reviews). The nut was cut shallow making it difficult to get the guitar in tune with open chords on the first three frets. This can be corrected easily. Truss rod and intonation were easy to set. Guitar is beautiful. I purchased it for my son for Xmas. He loves skeletons and skulls. However I found that the frets are each serrated and were never polished plus fret sprout. The other problem is that the shape of the whammy bar is incorrect and curved wrong. A replacement would be appreciated.

Amazing value for the price - guitar sounds great. Unfortunately the neck is cracked at the body joint - possibly happened in shipping. I'll use heated hide glue to fix it once I figure a way to clamp it.

Great at the price. Out of the box string action was really high and the pickups were almost level with the pickguard, so expect a fair amount of set-up work. I am a complete novice at setting up guitars, but after a few youtube videos and some trial and error it's set-up nicely.

It's a beginner level guitar. It needed a truss rod tweak. New strings and a saddle height adjustment. It is now completely playable. It has one of the nicest necks I have ever seen on a guitar in my 25 years around guitars. There are no sharp fret ends and the neck is rolled very nicely. Great fret size and a joy to play. I REALLY like this fully-functioning Strat copy - especially for $64. I've been playing since 1976 and owned 4 Strats previously. FIRST IMPRESSION: String action was very high, pick guard was filthy (looked like someone handled it with glue on their fingers), volume POT was scratchy (cut in and out). I knew I could adjust the action myself, I later figured out the 'filthy' looking pick guard was actually protective clear-sheet cover (duh) and resolved pot noise with knob-spray. I had to raise the bridges on the upper strings to remove the buzzing frets, and also lengthen the lower strings to tune the octave. We're good to go now. Tone is good. Low distortion pickups and wide tone control. I especially like the maple neck. Everyone who has reviewed the instrument, each described a different problem. But for under $70 and a little setup time you can't beat the Glarry.
