Sweet bass came perfectly set up. This is the 2nd G2 Jazz bass I have purchased, first was a blue color. Will look to customize this with black pickguard and tuning pegs.

Great service and delivered on time in great condition. I did buy this bass as a learning bass for repairs, upgrades and customizing. I was hoping to try the bass as is but found the the G-string tuning peg is bad and slips before can tune up. Looks like replacing these will be first upgrade/repair. Will let y'all know how it sounds once playable.

I received this bass for Father's Day quick about me: I have been playing electric bass since I was 11 years old that would be 1969 :) so 51 years It has a thick neck closer to a P bass but still playable. The pickups are really good, they are strong and surprisingly silent when you roll either one completely off. Machine head upgrade was also a nice surprise, I didn't know they went with Wilkinson electronics and hardware until I got this bass, as I wasn't gassing for anything and hadn't been looking. All in all other than the thickness of the neck, it is a good bass for the price. Truss rod worked great ( neck was straight as a pin) so, I had to tweak it a little. Nut is made of bone and no sharp edges 18 thousand at the first fret out of box. The action was 3/64ths I adjusted it to the high end of 5/64, which fixed the buzzing I was getting in the first video. No issues with sprouting or fret dressing and finish and fit were good. Heavier mass bridge and the saddle string positions are right where they belong in correspondents to the pole pieces, pickup heights measure correctly as well. This is my 3rd Glarry bass guitar I have the original P and the GIB and now this one. with the right set up you can gig with these bass and I have. Mr.RT.Slinger

Overall, this is a good bass. There are some quality issues, but I was kind of expecting that for a bass in this price range. Out of the box, the fret buzz was terrible but changing the strings cured that. The neck pickup is installed at an angle and one of the screws will not go all the way in (pictured). Finally, the bridge pickup doesn't work at all but since typically play using the neck pickup it doesn't effect my playing. The bass does have a pleasant tone and the back of the neck is comfo ...

Hi All - I have about ten bass guitars, from a Fender P bass to a RICK. In my humble opinion I would say this bass is equal to my Ibanez Mikro bass. It does not suffer from neck dive, the neck is baby bottom smooth and the Wilkerson pickup sound great. Out of the box the bass just had to tuned up to play so you can get your ya-ya's out of the way. The next day I put on favorite D'Addario strings and made some minor tweaks here and there and I am a happy bass player. I tuned it to Drop B, Open ...

came missing string tree and pickups do not fit in pickguard right little bit of a let do after buying and loving the cheaper p bass

Upgrades are excellent! A little lower action makes this bass comparable to ones costing twice as much.
